Chapter 45: Perfect Angle

A month had passed already. Me and Jungkook are strong and still. We are just texting everyday and being romantic all day. We can't go out freely so we're just texting. I can't even put down my phone for a second.

Now I have to prepare for the acoustic stage collab.

Today is the day for our rehearsal. My manager drove me to the venue. When I arrive at the venue I saw Jihyo unnie had just got off of her van. I bowed and  waved at her and she did so.

"Good morning! We're in a collaboration again. Last time I wasn't able to be close to you because you're in pair with Jungkook sunbae. But your performance was epic.." she said

"Kamsamnida.. I'm glad it went well" I said and bowed to her again. Then we have arrived at the chosen room for the rehearsal.

When we entered the room we saw the band fixing the set-up for the instruments. We also saw Chanyeol sunbae... Wow he's still the same. Still handsome as usual.

Erase! Erase! You already have Jungkook now! But it's just a crush!

I can't organize my thoughts. In how long I have been an idol, this is the first time I saw him... closely. When we arrived he's playing a guitar.

When they all noticed us they bowed to us and we bowed as well.

"We're just waiting for Miyeon." The manager said.

While waiting for Miyeon, I just played my guitar and practice while Jihyo unnie warmed up her voice.

I was just left with Chanyeol sunbae beside me. He's also playing his guitar...

"I really love your new song.. congrats.." he said.

"Thanks sunbae.. I also like you're new song. Obsession.. it's so cool.." I said and he smiled.

While me and sunbae were talking, Miyeon arrived.

"I'm sorry I'm late.. " she said while bowing to us.

"It's okay we've just finish installing the instruments. We're ready to start!" The manager said.

We rehearsed  until we finished the day. We assigned the songs.

I will sing the acoustic version of DDU-DU-DDU-DU-DU, Jihyo unnie will sing the Feel Special acoustic version, Chanyeol sunbae will sing the acoustic version of Obsession and Miyeon will sing the acoustic version of Senorita.

We also assigned the ones who will play the accompaniment of every song. I will play the Obsession of Chanyeol sunbae and will help for the accompaniment of Miyeon's Senorita. Chanyeol sunbae will play for my DDU-DU-DDU-DU-DU and me, Chanyeol sunbae and the 10 cm band will play for Jihyo unnie's feel special.

We have to practice 3 days and rest the remaining day tehn we have to perform the day after that.

Me and Chanyeol sunbae became friends because of similar preferences.

The day of performance we are at the backstage just waiting for our introduction and the band members are fixing the instruments on the stage while on the break.

It's time for the performance. We played the songs flawlessly. The people applauded after our performance.

At the backstage we all congratulated everyone for a great job. But what shocked me is Chanyeol sunbae hugged me. But it's not a flirty hug, it's a friendly one.

"Nice guitar skills you got there! Hope to have a collab with you again!" He said between the hug.

"Thanks sunbae!" I said and smiled.
