Chapter 31: Interrogation

Rosé's POV
After he accompanied me home we bid goodbyes to each other. He watched me go inside our dorm before he left.

I felt being cared by someone special. Except for my members, he's the first one where I felt safe in the same time comforted.

I headed inside the room and in my surprise my members were glaring at me. I squealed after I saw their faces.

"What is this all about? Can you see your faces? You were like investigators looking at the suspect." I said while chuckling

"Who do you think is the suspect?" Jennie unnie asked

"Yah I'm just joking why are you so sensitive?" I asked. They seem serious. " Is it about the dinner a while ago with Jungkook sunbae?" I added and they nodded in response.

I sighed.

"You could've just ask." I said and their faces brightened.

"Come here! Sit here!!" Lisa squealed in excitement.

"Did you already take your dinner?" I asked

"We already took our dinner.. don't worry about us. All you have to do is to answer all of our questions.." jisoo unnie said while munching popcorns.

"Alright alright.. easy.." I said

"Okay we'll start.." Lisa said. It makes me nervous all of a sudden. "You said you're with Jungkook sunbae a while ago right?" I nodded "and you said that you had dinner with him, why? You're not the type to have a dinner with someone you are not close with..."

Hu.. that was just the first question..

"In the first place we didn't plan a dinner. We just went there to have a snack. But then we didn't expected that the restaurant's service is so poor. And was come along by many people imside the restaurant. So that's why we just called it a dinner. Second. We didn't take that called 'dinner' for our personal issues. We talked about our performance for the event." I answered. They seemed satisfied. But then after a few seconds, their eyes widen.

Huhhh..What now???

"I thought it was a group performance of main vocalists of each group? Why is it the only two of you?!" Jennie unnie asked me this time.

"Yes it was but the event manager paired us for a duet performance. That's why we have a week to practice." I answered. Again.

"Ooohhhh~" they said in unison

"So what song?" Jisoo unnie asked this time

"The event manager suggested us to pick a love song. To make it more unique than the other performances, we decided to pick a english song. We took a risk so we need to practice eagerly. For me it's not a problem but for Jungkook.. he needs a little improvement." I answered. For the third time.

"So what song?!!" The three of the asked

"We decided to sing a song of secondhand serenade. You also know this Jennie unnie... Fall for you.."

"Really??!!" She said. I know how she love this song so she must've be excited.

"I know that too!!" Lisa shouted too

"Yeah we heard that once!!!" Jisoo unnie joined along the commotion.

"Shhh.. no need to shout. Our manager is sleeping.." I said

They all just laugh. Did I said something funny?

"Manager-nim is not here. He left his phone here so Lisa answered. You said that you are with Jungkook sunbae so he should walk you here. Haha" Jennie unnie said.
