Your Song

I run upstairs to my room and open the window but only to see Jayden on his computer. I try to get his attention by making retarded hand gestures and after a while, he notices and opens the window. 

“What are you doing? What are you? A chicken? Wait, let me rephrase that… you ARE a chicken,” he mimicked with a chuckle. I frown.

“I was trying to get your attention. Anyways, do you want to come over because I have to babysit Todd?” I asked hoping he would say yes and on cue, he nodded, closing the window and running out of his room. Suddenly there was a knock on the door and I heard footsteps running up the stairs and the opening of the door.

“You must really love my house. You were like bloody Usain Bolt, running out of your room and running up the stairs like that,” I said looking shocked.

“Well Cammy, I forgot to tell you that I am Usain Bolt in disguise,” he smiled weirdly.

“But I thought you were a turtle,” I whined and pouted, liking him as a turtle. He just raised an eye brow before lying down on my bed which is common. In fact, every time he comes over, the first thing he does is lie down on my bed. He said that it was the best bed in the whole world and I had to agree with him.

“Oh by the way Cammy, I’m going to quit soccer so I can focus more on my singing. I was thinking of trying out for X Factor this year,” Jayden said all of a sudden.

“WHAT? QUIT SOCCER? YOU CAN’T DO THAT JAYDEN! I FORBID IT!” I was mortified! He can’t quit soccer, he’s been playing soccer since he was little. He can’t give it up now. “Can’t you like do both?”

“Well I would like to but I think soccer gets in the way of things. I like singing more than soccer and I can actually try to make a career out of it. With soccer, I can’t,” he replied looking at me, hoping that I would agree with his decision. I had no choice but to. I’m not his mother and what he’s saying does make sense. He’s an AMAZING singer.

“Oh, alright but when you become famous and shit, don’t forget me!” I replied giving him a hug. Things are going to change now.

“I will NEVER forget you! In fact, I want you to come with me to my audition which is in a few weeks.

“Of course. Only if I can be called ‘your biggest fan’,” I joked and he laughed.

That night, Jayden and I just watched movies with Todd which did include Disney. Shut up! You’re never too old for Disney okay. We started watching The Lion King and when the baboon started holding up simba, I grabbed Todd and mimicked his position, holding Todd up. Todd started giggling and put him down as we all laughed.

“You’re so immature,” Jayden laughed as I sat back down. I stuck my tongue out at him.

“So what if I never want to grow up? I’m Peter Pan remember,” I said trying to fly off the couch. Obviously that didn’t work as I landed straight onto the ground. For a seventeen year old, I’m not very bright. Jayden cracked up, rolling on the floor laughing a.k.a ROFL! I shook my head before laughing with him. “You’re so cray cray.” Yes I used the word cray cray okay!  

“Not as much as you,” he winked.

It was eight o’clock and it was Todd’s bed time but getting Todd to sleep is pretty much impossible.

“I doe wanna go ta bed,” he whined, running away from the room.

“I’ll get him,” Jayden said, standing up and starting chasing Todd. I sighed as it was going to be a long night. Jayden managed to catch Todd but he was struggling to hold Todd as Todd kept wiggling.

“TODD! You need to go to bed or mum’s going to be VERY angry,” I said, acting all mature which is totally not my thing because Jayden laughed at my weird stance and face expression.  I began to giggle,“Shut up Jayden!”

We managed to get Todd into his bed but he just stayed awake and would not sleep.

“What if I sing something?” Jayden asked.

“Go ahead. Worth a try,” I replied while I sat down on Todd’s mini chair.

As Jayden was finishing Your Song, I felt my eyes close gently as I was endeavoured into a deep sleep.

Hey guys, so this is like my first Collective fanfic that I've written and obviously it's NOT very good because I suck at writing but anyways, I would just like to say thank you to everyone who has read the story so far hahahaha so yeah. Love you all <3 .xx
