[Jayden’s POV]
We arrived at Ariana’s house and she came out with Laura and two unfamiliar girls.
“Oh, I think that’s Ana and Michelle,” I heard Cammy say next to me. I looked at her as she looked out the windscreen.
“Holy shit. Do I look okay?” Will asked quickly checking himself in the mirror in the car. I turned around and smirked.
“So, what’s with you and Laura?” I asked curiously. He started to blush and look out the side window.
“N-nothing. I just asked for her number, that’s all,” he muttered. I raised my eye brow.
“Really? Because she told me that you guys have been texting a lot lately,” Cammy said playfully. Will’s face went even redder if that was even possible.
“Oh shush you.”
“Never,” Cammy grinned before stepping out of the car. Zach, Julian and Trent arrived in the other car and parked, climbing out of the car. I turned off the car and clambered out after Cammy.
“Hey Cammy, Jayden and Jayden’s friends. So glad you could all come and help. Oh, this is Ana and Michelle if you didn’t know,” Ariana introduced the two girls.
“Hi,” I said and waved. They waved back and muttered a hi.
“So who are your friends?” Ariana asked, looking behind me, gesturing to the four boys behind us.
“Right, these are my… band mates,” I said cautiously. Ariana thought about it.
“Oh, I didn’t know you were in a band,” she said.
“That’s because we were just formed,” I replied hesitantly.
“ARIANA! I BROUGHT ICE-CREAM SO I NEED TO PUT IT IN THE FREEZER!” Cammy excitedly said and held up the cookies and cream ice-cream we bought on the way. Ariana let us through which meant the conversation was dropped. I could tell that Cammy was doing it on purpose so I would have to thank her for that later. We all walked in and I could hear The Script being played on Ariana’s loudspeakers. I walked over and turned it up. I started to hum the rhythm before blurting out the words of ‘Breakeven’.
“What am I supposed to do when the best part of me was always you? And what am I supposed to say when I’m all choked up that you’re okay?”
“Sorry Jayden,” Cammy interrupted. I turned down the music instantly.
“For what?” I asked confused. She smirked and slowly made her way across the room. Her smirk turned into a grin.
“All the things I’m going to do to you tonight,” she whispered in my ear so seductively, my body started to tingle. I gulped as she ran her hands up and down my arm.
“And what ‘things’ are you planning on doing?” I asked, snaking my arm around her waist, bringing her closer. She tugged on my shirt and smiled up at me.
“Hm, well payback IS a bitch so you’ll see when the time comes,” she said. I groaned.
“Don’t do this to me,” I whined like a little kid.
“Do what?” she asked, getting out my grasp.
“Cammy,” I pouted.
“Jay Jay,” she copied. I groaned and looked at her pleadingly. She smiled not so innocently once more before walking away.
[Cammy’s POV]
I didn’t tell Jayden about the letter from my Uncle that I got this morning. He said that he wanted to meet up with me for the first time. I would love to meet my uncle but if he ends up being some pedo then I’ll be extremely worried.
