EPISODE 15: MARRY GO ROUND

Pretend this is Piper hugging Payson

[Scene: Manor. Foyer, where Payson and Cole's wedding will be held. It's decorated in purple and black. Payson and Piper are there. Piper is arranging some deep purple flowers in vases while Payson's walking around pacing.]

Payson: Piper, did you check on the cake?

Piper: Yes.

Payson: That's good.

Piper: I checked on the cake. Could you please stop pacing?

Payson: No, I can't stop pacing. I should just postpone this.

Piper: Payson, it's all taken care of. You're having a small simple wedding right here in the Manor, not some big blow out thing. It will be fine.

Payson: It's not just that. Our sister is the Source and I'm still getting married.

Piper: Oh.

Payson: I can't do this, I should be figuring out a way to save Phoebe.

Piper: Payson, we've been over this and there's nothing we can do right now except try to go on with our lives.

Payson: How you can you say that when we're on the verge of losing Phoebe again?

Piper: Honey, you need to relax a little bit, and breathe, breathing's good, breathing is your friend.

Payson: You're still in denial aren't you.

Piper: You bet I am.

(Paige walks in.)

Paige: Whoa. It's really...dark in here. Pretty, but dark.

Piper: It's Payson's style.

Payson: Um, where is my dress?

Paige: Oh, I don't have it.

Payson: What do you mean? How could you forget my dress the day before the wedding? The bridal shop's closed tomorrow.

Paige: Relax, it's open tonight, I'm planning on picking it up on my way to the rehearsal dinner.

Payson: Oh.

Piper: Alright, why don't we sit down.

Payson: Oh, yeah, sitting is good. (They sit at the table.) I'm so stressed out. I really don't think I can do this.

Paige: Are you more worried about the wedding or about the Source?

Payson: Both. You know, 'cause I just want tomorrow to be perfect, no glitches. Natural or supernatural, you know. No magic, no ghosts. No sister that's the Source. (She looks up.) You guys understand that? I just want tomorrow to be nice and normal. And I want to forget, I really do, that my sister is the Source.

Piper: Honey, I promise you we will have your perfect wedding. By this time tomorrow, you and Cole will be joined in holy matrimony. And then we will figure out a way to save Phoebe.

Payson: I just feel like I'm selfish because I'm going through with this when Phoebe is being taken over by the Source.

Paige: Honey, Leo said that we can't do anything about it right now, we have to act normal, act like we don't know that she's the Source, and that means proceeding with our normal lives like nothing is out of the ordinary.

Payson: (She sighs.) I know, but it's so hard. (Piper and Paige lean in and hug her.)

[Scene: Underworld. A cave. Phoebe and the Seer are there.]

Seer: Heh. Holy matrimony. Thankfully that is not what is planned for you.

Phoebe: Why not?

Seer: Because it would keep you from ever reigning as the Source.
