EPISODE ONE A WITCH, S TAIL PART ONE

This is Payson's hair after Paige's potion explosion

[Scene: Manor. Payson and Piper are walking up the stairs.]

Payson: Okay, Piper, I can't be late getting to the magazine today. I have a photo shoot with the mayor, and then Cole and I are having lunch and going baby shopping.

Piper: Oh Payson, relax. (They walk into the hallway.) Could you forget about your life for two seconds? (She laughs) Come see where we're putting the nursery.

Payson: You're putting it in your closet. I've seen your closet, there's a lot of shoes, honey.

Piper: No, not anymore.

Payson: Why aren't you using my room?

Piper: Because you still live in your room.

Payson: Only like 2 days out of the week!

Piper: My point exactly. (They walk into Piper's room and into the emptied-out closet.) Look, it's perfect.

(Leo is there making a hole in the wall to fit a window.)

Payson: It's a little cramped though, don't you think?

Leo: That's why I'm adding a window to bring in the light and create a sense of space.

(They walk back into the room.)

Payson: Aww, you guys are very cute but why are you doing all this now? I mean, your due date is not for months.

Piper: Well, demon activity has been light, so it's a good time to get ahead. Besides, you're the one going baby shopping this afternoon.

Payson: My due date is a month ahead of yours.

Piper: Ooh, a month, because that's so much sooner.

(They laugh.)

Leo: Speaking of. Once I'm done here, I'll head over to the penthouse to help you and Cole.

Payson: Thanks Leo, that's sweet. I'm sure Cole will appreciate it. I know I would rather have you doing it then the guy Cole wants to hire.

Piper: Cole wants to hire someone to decorate the nursery?

Payson: Yeah and knowing Cole it's probably a former demonic associate, which is why I insisted on Leo. But Cole thought since you two have a baby of your own on the way it would be difficult. (She shrugs) Okay, well, I've seen the nursery and it's beautiful, but I really have to go to that shoot.

Piper: Heh, honey, I know your work and your baby, and your life is very important to you but guess what? I'm having a baby too.

Payson: Aw, I know.

Piper: Yeah, so how about you take a couple of minutes to be Aunt Payson.

Payson: (She laughs.) Okay, okay, fine, what do you need?

Piper: An opinion. Uh, I'm thinking...

(Paige orbs in.)

Paige: Positions! Bogey in three, two, one... (Suddenly, a demon wearing no shirt and a black and white mask appears. He blows a dart at Paige with a blowgun. Payson waves the dart away from Paige. Paige ducks, the dart hits a teddy bear and its head shrinks. Payson and Piper gasp. Piper blows up the demon and vanquished him.) So much for the theory that Borneo demons are impervious to magical powers. I can't wait to tell the local witch doctors.

Leo: Okay, excuse me, can we refrain from blowing up demons in the nursery?

Piper: Oh, honey, it was just one.
