SEASPM FIVE:EPISODE 11: THE IMPORTANCCE OF BEING PAYSON

Payson's outfit ignore the bag

[Scene: Manor. Payson's room. Payson and Cole are in bed asleep. Payson is dreaming.]

Voice: Payson...Payson. (Andy appears.)

Payson: Andy? What are you doing here? (She looks around and sees they're at the swing.)

Andy: I was waiting for you Payson. Like I said I would.

Payson: I don't understand.

Andy: We're meant to be together, Payson. (He takes her hand.) We're soulmates.

Payson: Andy, I...I'm with someone else. (Andy steps back.) I'm sorry.

Andy: How could you betray me, Payson? Betray our love.

Payson: Andy, you died. I had to move on.

Andy: No Payson, I was the one you were meant to be with. (He orbs away.)

(Payson wakes up with a start. She looks around the room and sees Cole in bed beside her. She sighs in relief and puts her hands on her stomach.)

[Scene: Manor. Kitchen. Next morning. Payson yawns and puts her head down on the counter as Paige walks in.]

Paige: Payson? Are you okay? (Payson looks up at her.) Oh honey, what is it?

Payson: I just haven't been sleeping well.

Paige: Again? What's wrong this time?

Payson: I keep having the same dream. (She pours herself some tea.) I would kill for coffee right now.

Paige: Maybe you should talk to Leo or someone about it.

(Piper comes in.)

Piper: Talk to Leo about what? (Payson hands her a cup of tea.)

Paige: About the dream she keeps having.

Piper: What dream?

Paige: Yeah, what's it about.

Payson: It's nothing. Really.

Piper: Uh huh. Payson you're a very bad liar.

Paige: Yeah. That's a bad habit to teach my nephew.

Piper: Yeah Aunt Payson, little wiccans have very big ears that can hear you.

Payson: Oh, I'm sorry, babies. (She snickers and rubs her tummy and then Piper's.)

Piper: Okay, seriously now. What's the dream about?

Payson: (sighs) I keep dreaming about Andy.

Piper: Oh. Oh honey.

Paige: Andy? The cop who was killed here, right?

Piper: Not just that, Paige. He was Payson's first true love.

Payson: It's just, it took a long time for me to get over his death, and when Cole and I got together it brought a lot of those feelings back. I feel like I'm being haunted, he keeps telling me I betrayed him, that I was meant to be with him, not Cole. (She starts to cry. Piper and Paige hug her.) I just don't understand why now, just when Cole and I are getting ready for the baby.

Paige: Have you tried summoning Andy? Maybe that would put your mind at rest.

(Payson shakes her head.)

Payson: I can't summon him; I can't face him now. It's too painful. (She sighs.) I have to go drop off some prints. I'll see you two later. (She wipes her eyes and walks around to get her purse from the table.)
