SEASON SIX EPISODE NINE: LITTLE MONSTERS

[Scene: Manor. Payson's room. Payson and Cole are lying in bed asleep. Payson is dreaming. She sees Phoebe and walks over to her.]

Payson: Phoebe. What are you doing here?

Phoebe: There's not much time, Payson.

Payson: What do you mean? (Phoebe takes Payson's hand and gasps.) What is it? What do you see? (Phoebe's eyes glow)

Phoebe: I see two souls sprung forth from a first-born witch. Two powers rise forth, one destined for greatness and the other destruction. Evil awakens when he takes a bride of twice-blessed blood and by his hand his brother will be do more. Evil abounds and good will be no more.

(Payson wakes up and gasps. She looks over at Cole and then across the room to Paxton and Parker's cribs.)

[Scene: Restaurant. Payson and Cole are sitting at a table, kissing. A waiter walks up to the table and clears his throat.]

Waiter: Pardon me.

(Payson laughs, embarrassed.)

Payson: Hi. Sorry, I didn't see you there.

Waiter: Oh, no, no, please, never apologize for a kiss, signora. Especially for one like that. (He shows them a bottle of wine.) '95 brunello di montalcino.

Cole: Great. Decant it, please.

Waiter: Of course.

(The waiter walks away.)

Payson: Oh, wow, is that embarrassing.

Cole: You heard what the man said, never apologize.

Payson: Yeah...

Cole: What's wrong? You've been acting strange all day.

Payson: I don't know. It's just this dream I keep having.

Cole: The one about Phoebe?

Payson: Yeah.

Male Voice: Daniel, table three.

Cole: (hurt) Payson...

Payson: I'm sorry.

(Daniel walks over and wipes up the spill. Paige orbs in nearby.)

Payson: Oh, thank you.

(Paige walks over to them.)

Paige: Hi.

Payson: Paige.

Paige: I am so sorry to interrupt but Piper's kind of...

Cole: Demonically hung up?

Paige: Yeah. So, if you could come like, right now, she'd really love it.

Payson: Of course, she would. (She sighs.)

Paige: Are you okay? Is it the baby?

Payson: No. It's-no. I'm fine. Let's go do this.

(Payson, Paige, and Cole head for the door.)

[Scene: Alley. Piper is there. She is watching a creature standing over a demon. The demon is screaming in pain. Payson and Paige orb in. Cole shimmers in behind them.]

Payson: Okay, let's vanquish this demon.

Piper: Shh. Something beat us to the punch.

Paige: Eww, what is it doing?
