Chapter 2

        Corey was looking at her and said, "So I'm the only werewolf still alive?" "yeah you are." and then she says, "Well we got to get going it will take a week to get there if we want to walk but it might take about 2 weeks to get there." then Corey said, "well is there any vampires still alive?" she just looked at him and said nothing then Davida said, " Well i want to know if there are any more left since i was told they where all gone." then Jeff left the room and then Davida noticed he left and went after him and that was when Shelby asked Corey if there was something the matter and then Corey said, "Sorry i was just thinking of my crush when i was younger and how she never knew how i felled."  just then you see Shelby ask Corey if there was a reason that he loved her but then Corey didnt say anything and then She said, "Well I hope you can get better." just then there was a noise outside and then Jeff ran into the room and said,  "Corey there is a giant turtle outside you have to see it." they all went to the window there it was a 10 feet long turtle and it was on the beach with a rope around its neck and then they decide its safe since it looked dead on the beach then they got close enough to see there was a ruby like the one that the Dark Bird had dropped and then Jeff said to Corey, "How many do you need to find now?" then Corey said, "I think 4 more." Corey picked up the the ruby and then Darkoni was watching and then said, "Well Where will the next piece be?" just then you see Davida look at Corey and say, "Well brother I guess its time for you to go to visit those people in Texas." Corey Just looked at her and said , "I will be back you can bet on that. Jeff you keep an eye on my sister for me." then Jeff says, "Well you know she can be a handful sometimes." Corey just starts laughing at that and then goes on to say, "Well i just want you guys to know if I die i want you to know you where the best family I had." he hugs them then leaves with Shelby and they went out and then when they where 10 miles away Corey looks back and a tear ran down his face then Shelby said, "You will see them again." then Corey says to himself , "Not if your boss wants me for something i cant handle." they walked for what felt like days even thought it was only 9 hours and then they stopped at a abandoned hotel an then Shelby said, "Well this will be a nice place to spend the night." then Corey says, "Well you know i don't know you that much how do i know i can trust you?"  then Shelby looks at Corey with a face that he saw on Ashley when she first talked with him in the 3rd year but never understood why she was doing it then she said, "Lets get some sleep we have a long day ahead of us."  that night was crazy since Corey found a room that was nice and had a bunch of DVD's in  it and they where movies from the 2000s and the then he went to sleep watching one and the next day he woke up to see Shelby in the other bed and and then she woke up and said she was ordered to protect him and then he say, "Well i bin on my own for 10 years and i'm 11 now and I know my parents were a beast and a vampire."   "You know that you are the last beast since your parents knew the world will be like this." said Shelby as she was getting out of bed and then you see Corey just look at the view outside and then Shelby said, "Well I know i'm not Ashley but I bet she would be happy your still alive and if i meet you a year or two ago we could have bin best friends." "No we wouldn't you would get scared when I turned into a beast." Shelby just turned her face and said, "There's a lot you don't know that will hurt you but i won't tell you. I can tell you that I was friends with Ashley and she wouldn't stop talking about you I can see why you are cute but why she was a year older then you and I'm 13 and you are nice." Corey just looked at her as she said the word "Cute" why did she say that he thought if she was friends with Ashley he never saw her graduate when they where in school and then he said, "How did you meet Ashley anyways?" "Well I dropped out when you where only in year 3 or 4 and I asked Ashley to come with me and she refused I asked why she wouldn't come and she pointed to you and said she had a crush on you and wanted to keep you safe cause you where meant for something big." "What do you mean anyways?"  "Well the leader will tell you more about it when we get to the town near the Mexico border."  "Tell me what Ashley had to say about me if she did I always tryed to stay away from people year 1 to 3 but year 4 was difrent my best friend Jeff came into my life and he felt like a brother to me since we both were trouble makers." "Well she told me she was shy when she saw you in year 3 just sitting alone at lunch and wanted to sit  with you but all the other kids thought you were a crazy kid but she liked you back then." "Well we never dated i wanted to tell her but it was to late I found out she had died." Shelby  then told him that she wanted to see why Ashley liked him so much and when her leader told her to get him she said okay to it and now she sees what she saw in him and then at that moment she kissed him.
