A whole week had gone by and we hadn't spoken. I'd see her in the hall and she'd give me a smile but that was about it, I talked to Luna two times though.
She wanted to know if we fought while she was away, I wasn't sure what to tell her just that we were taking time apart because we had become too dependent on each other. She didn't like that but she let it go.
I did my best to just throw myself into work but even that wasn't working in my favor. I felt useless and numb, I hadn't realized just how much her presence made my days better.
"Don't forget you have dinner with your brothers tonight"
I look up and see my assistant standing in my doorway, she has her things packed already. I look out the window and see it's already dark "Thank you"
She nods and then turns "It will work out Mr. Kim, whatever you and this woman are going through...it will work out. I've never seen you so happy since she came into your life" I give her a smile before she disappears from my office. I wish I could believe her.

"Why didn't you bring y/n?"
Hearing her name made my stomach twist "She was busy" I lie, cause why on earth would I tell my two idiot brothers that their Hyung got dumped by someone he wasn't even dating!
"That's too bad, I was hoping for some eye candy tonight" I glare over at my younger brother and he laughs.
"Y/n is the neighbor right?"
Namjoon asks, Taehyung nods "The very hot neighbor" I grip my fork a bit tighter, I felt so on edge just talking about her. I missed her. "I bet she would of came if I invited her, I seen her the other day actually"
I look over at Taehyung's smug face, I wish I could hit him sometimes. "Where?" He smirks, he's enjoying this too much. "By your work actually, figured she was seeing you. Did you know she has a kid?"
I frown, why were they by my work? Namjoon's eyes are on me now. "Hyung did you know that?" I nod
"Yeah her names Luna, she's a good kid a bit mean actually but only to me. She's also really good at video games and she has a great sense of humor, although my jokes are still as always the best"
They both look at me like I've grown another head "What?" I ask feeling a bit insecure all of a sudden.
"You hate kids"
Namjoon mumbles. I shrug "I still do just...not Luna" Taehyung raises a brow at Namjoon and they both smirk. I sigh and shake my head "Dont get any ideas, we're just friends or...were? I'm not sure what's happening with us right now"
"You guys break up or something? Yoongi did mention you weren't yourself the other day"
I glare at the name, I was still upset with him for flirting with y/n in front of me. He claims he wasn't but I was sitting right there! I seen it all.
"We can't break up if we were never together and tell Yoongi to mind his business"
Again they both look at me weird but I ignore them and pick at my food. I really haven't eaten much of anything lately. Nothing seemed good to me. "Can we talk about something else now?"
Thankfully they agree.

"Why won't you let me inside? Who are you hiding in there?"
I hear yelling before the elevator doors open and my heart starts to race, y/n is the only other person who lives on this floor.
"Keep your voice down! Your not even suppose to be here how did you get in the building"
Much like that first night y/n is tucked away behind the taller man. She's standing her ground but I can hear the slight fear in her voice. "I wanna see Luna, just let me in."
My feet are already moving as he tries to put his hands on y/n. I push him back a little and step in front of y/n
"You okay?"
She looks shocked but nods her head "Who the fuck is this? Is this the guy your fucking?"
Yes...well kind of...I wish.
The man who I'm assuming is Luna's dad is standing in front of me now, puffing his chest out. He's shorter than me and not at all what I expected. What was y/n thinking? She could do way better.
"Seokjin it's okay, I got it"
Y/n mumbles but she still stays tucked behind me. "Y/n go in the house and call security" My voice comes out a bit demanding which I didn't mean but I was so angry. She looks up at me a bit taken back and then glances over at the dude.
"Joe just leave, stop showing up here. We both know you want nothing to do with Luna so just leave us alone"
The guy looks like he's about to lose his shit, but I feel proud of my little minx. "Watch your mouth! Don't forget who your talking to. Just cause this little bitch is standing here doesn't mean your going to disrespect me"
I'm fucking furious now, this guy was about to get the shit kicked out of him because no one is going to talk to my little minx like that. Not while I'm around. As I'm about to punch this mother fucker in the face another fist passes by me and hits him first.
I blink a few times and look back at my minx, sure enough her hand is all red. The dude stumbles back a bit and looks as shocked as I am.
"I think it's best you leave now or she'll really give you an ass whooping"
He's an asshole though and doesn't listen, he comes at y/n like he's about to kill so this time I punch him and drag his sorry ass to the elevators. Luckily for me the doors open fast and I throw his ass inside.
He's still talking shit but is too shitfaced to actually get up and try to fight me. I don't turn until the doors close and the elevator starts to move. I sigh and look back at y/n, I can tell she's upset but I'm not sure if it's because of him or me or both.
"Come on my little minx, let's clean your hand up"
I'm a bit away from her but I still see that cute shy smile on her lips and my heart starts to race again.
I missed her so much
