Obi-wan and Serene walked out of Padme's room and their eyes landed on Borrei. He was leaning on the wall across, his hands in front of his bare muscled chest and his eyes closed. Once hearing the door opening, he opened his eyes and glared at the Jedi.
"You again?" he asked as he kicked himself off the wall.
"A pleasure to see you as well" the Jedi replied.
"What is he doing here?"
"He is Padme's bodyguard from today and weare going to check the security. You can go home and rest Borrei" Serene said.
"It is not advisable to leave you alone" he argued.
"I am not alone. I am with a Jedi here and there is another one inside the room. Go rest and I will contact you via the comm if anything happens", he looked at her dead in the eyes, towering over her form but she didn't even blink. "Do not force me to make it an order"
"Very well" he replied and walked down the hallway.
"He is such sweet fruit, isn't he? I am sure flowers bloom whenever he smiles" Obi-wan joked and she chuckled.
"Yeah. He once even made a tree produce fruits by sending it a kiss" the two of them chuckled. "Gosh, I missed you obi-wan"
She suddenly stopped, her face going from amusement to shock as she realized what she had just said. He looked at him with the tip of her eye and her cheeks flushed red when she noticed him smirking.
"Yes, I missed myself too" he joked and then placed a hand on her shoulder. "I will admit, your presence was missed"
She smiled and her cheeks flushed redder. "We should...*clears throat* check the security"

The duo was walking back to Padme's apartment. They had checked each guard across the floors, the control centre and even the perimeter outside. Once they had confirmed that everything was okay, they decided to return.
During all the time, the two of them talked and tried to catch up to everything that had happened to them during the year they were apart.
"I was worried at first when I saw you. The Senate has changed you" Obi-wan admitted.
"Yeah, I am aware. However, it was the only way to survive there. I am still not that welcomed and my opinions clash with many others"
"Politics is hard. I have witnessed a few Senate meetings and makes me be thankful for the action I get"
"You should be. Wish I had some more action. It is a miracle if I come back home without a headache" she said and shook her head while Obi-wan chuckled at her drama.
