Logan flipped the pancake onto the plate. He was making Patton breakfast since it was his birthday. Patton was sleeping late since it was his birthday and everyone had insisted on it the day before.
Logan smiled as he poured orange juice into a glass. He set it on the tray along with the plate of pancakes. He had attempted to make a smiley face with the fruit and whipped cream, but it turned out weird. Logan frowned, but he knew Patton wouldn't care.
He carried the tray to Patton's room and slowly opened the door. Patton was still sleeping in bed. Logan smiled at his boyfriend. Even in his sleep, he was still smiling.
Logan put the tray down on the nightstand and softly shook Patton. The bubbly father-figure stirred and opened his eyes.
"Mm... Logan?" Patton grabbed his glasses and fumbled with them. He clumsily put them on his face and stared up at Logan. His gaze wandered over to the nightstand. He gasped lightly. "Logan, what's this?"
"Breakfast in bed?" Logan blushed a bit. Patton smiled.
"You shouldn't have," Patton said. He made grabby hands at Logan. Logan leaned forward and Patton pulled his face closer to capture his lips in a kiss. They pulled away moments later.
"It's your birthday, you shouldn't do any work on your birthday," Logan said.
"You're so sweet." Patton giggled. He stood up and hugged Logan.
"Happy birthday, love," Logan said.
"Thank you, honey." Patton smiled.
They hugged for a bit.

"Did you at least make breakfast for the others?" Patton asked as soon as they pulled away.

"I'll be right back," Logan said.
