       The New Player

It's been at least a week since the thing with that robot thing, Steve and nothing out of the ordinary has happened. No weird creatures, no weird food, and no weird people. I was kind of getting board of this.

"So Haruto, anything happen today?" I ask, knowing that nothing has been happening, I've been spending most of my time helping Haruto in the kitchen. He's never had to cook of anyone who didn't eat what these people ate. Which almost always involved human blood and flesh. So I helped him cook for me.

"Nothing yet. Why are you waiting for something to happen?" He asked, turning towards me. I sighed.

"Well no. But nothing has happened in almost a week. So now I waiting for something new to happen." I answered. He gave me a apologetic look.

"Well something will happen soon. It doesn't go to long in this house that something weird happens." He said sighing.

"How long have you been cooking for these people?" I ask him wanting to know more about him.

        "I don't know. I think it's been about 5 years." He says.

"Do you have a problem cooking for them?"

"No, I''ve always loved cooking. My mother taught me. Then a few months after she taught me she died. So cooking is something I do to keep my mom with me."

        "I'm sorry."

"It's okay I've gotten over it."

        "Oh."

"Well what's a hobby of your's?" He asks me, changing the subject.

        "I guess, it's playing horror games. I've alway's loved them." I answer.

"What's your favorite?" He asks me.

"I don't know I've played so many." I say thinking about it.

"Why do you play them?" He asks. My eyes widen. I've never told anyone why and I don't want to ever. The time I did was not pretty.

"Let's talk about something else." I say fast.

"Okay." He says. Then we go silent.

"So what do you want for dinner?" He asks me. I think about it for a while.

"I don't know. What are you making for everyone else?" I ask.

"Well I was going to make hamburgers and fries." He answers.

"Well then I guess I will too." I answer.

"Ok." He says, "So how do you make hamburgers with out blood and human flesh?" He asks me.Time passes and dinner is ready. Haruto still has to learn more about food with out human flesh and blood.

"Ok, why don't you tell everyone that dinner is ready. You know what to do." He says turning towards me. I just nodded. I walked over to the computer. They had come up with a system of how to tell everyone the same thing. Really, you just typed what you needed to tell everyone and it would show up on the screen that everyone had in there room.

So I typed in that dinner was ready and went to sit at the table, waiting for everyone else to come. First Miyu came. We didn't really talk to each other. We didn't have much to talk about. I was a geeky punk and she was more of the person who doesn't care about anything.

Then, slowly everyone else came. The last to come was Jigoku. Next to him was a boy who looked about my age, 17. His hair was short and a light blue color. His eyes were a striking purple and for some reason he looked familiar

"So who is this?" Haruto asks, coming out of the kitchen.

"This is Ivan Beilschmidt." He says, "And what did you say your nickname was again?" He asked, turning to Ivan.

"Karma." Ivan answered in a very heavy Russian accent. It took me a while before I registered what his nickname was. When I realized it, I gasped.

"You!" I yell, standing up quickly.

"And you are?" Karma said smirking.

"I'm Rei. You know? The kid who you prank constantly." I said.

"Oh that's right." He said still smirking.

"So, you two know each other?" Jigoku asked.

"Yea. We went to school together." Karma said brushing it off. So let's just learn a little about Karma and why he got his nickname. So it was when we were both 8 and Ivan had just moved to the house across from mine. He also went to the same school as I did, Haunted Elementary. Now form a young age he wasn't that bad. Then came Middle School.

In Middle School, he started pranking. And his prank were horrible. You did anything to him and the next day you would find something around the school about you. That's why everyone calls him Karma. He was called Karma by everyone including the teachers. So most people forgot his real name.

"So does that mean that I should feed him the food that you made?" Haruto came and whispered in my ear. I thought about it for a while. Then a big smirk came on my face.

"No, go ahead and give him the other kind. I'm sure he'll love it." I say, the smirk still on my face.

"So I'm guessing that you two don't like each other?" Haruto asks.

"Yea." I say. He just shrugs. He started to pass out the food. And as I said, he gaveKarma a hamburger that he made.  Everyone was curios of what he got. I still had a smirk on my face. Everyone watched as he took a bite. I could see as his face lit up with happiness.

''This is good. What's in it?" He asked. The smirk on my face got bigger.

"Oh just human flesh." I said calmly, and the smirk on my face still there. Then I took a sip of the wine that was put in front of me. That was the only thing that I would actually have that everyone else had. He spit out what he had in his mouth.

"Really? And your eating this?" He asked exasperated.

        "Of course not," I say.

"I'll get you back for this, Sato." He says between gritted teeth. I just shrugged.

"Ok." I said taking a bite of my hamburger.
