"Alright.." Helen said slowly. "And, there's something my mom wanted me to open when I get to the library." I swung my bag over in front of me as I unzipped it. Helen and Lucifer focused on the backpack too. In there, other than clothes and books, were a tiny wrapped up... something. I slowly took it out. "Oh, stop pausing every move!" Helen says, trying to snatch it from my hand. She earned a glare from Lucifer and me. "Hehe... sorry." She says, scratching her head. I groan as I unwrap it. In it, was a sapphire necklace. The one that mom always wore. "Woah... that is some necklace!" Helen whispered.
On the wrapping was letters. "Janny... there's letters." Lucifer exclaimed. "I know." I started to read it.
Janny. I know this is sudden, but I want you to keep this necklace. It's from one of my friends. A boy. He should be still in the walls. The royals are smart enough to recognize you as my daughter. If they start to threaten you, and, get you locked up or do anything that makes you inescapable, make this necklace shine. Aim to the sun, or moon. It'll shine brightly. The boy will come, and rescue you. If he questions you anything, just say, "Black Angel." Remember it.
"What is it?" Helen asks, trying to peer into it. "You guys read it." I say, fumbling with the necklace in my hand, throwing the wrapping to her. "Oh my god! Janny! This is awesome!" Helen says, excited. "No it's not." I reply. "Why?" Helen asks. "Look, it says, 'the royals are smart enough to recognize you as my daughter. If they start to threaten you,' Hence, it means they might threaten me!" "You just need to stay quiet! I wish I were you!" Lucifer cleaned his glasses as he asked, "So by when do we have to arrive at our new home?" "7." Helen said, remembering an announcement that happened 2 days ago.
"We do have a lot of time... what do you wanna do?" I exclaim "Check out what's inside the walls, other than this gorgeous library?" Helen suggested. "Agreed." I reply. We looked at Lucifer, hoping for a yes. "I... wanna check this place out." He says, unsure. "You mean the library?" Helen asks. "Yes." "Alright then! We meet here 3 hours later. Then, we could go ahead to eat something." Helen says, all of us agreeing. Then, I remember. The coins. "Hey guys, did you guys bring any money?" I ask. "Yeah." Helen says as she stops going out. Lucifer nods too. "Cause, I got some of my own money." "So?" I open my bag again, taking out a jingling pouch. I open it, to reveal 40 gold coins inside.
"Woah." Helen says, her eyes shining brightly. "When were you ever greedy when it came to money?" I ask. "From today." She says. "Well, I'll just go over there..." Lucifer said, getting Helen back to reality. "See you." I say, closing the bag tight and making my way upstairs.
