I put on my shirt, slowly breathing in the rose water again. Royals' life was, fragrant. I put on my cardigan once again, feeling my right pocket. My neckl- wait, it isn't there. Frantically, I search the other pocket. "Left pocket, left pocket." My brain chants. I stick my hand, instantly feeling the cold metal. Wait, why is it in my left pocket? Have I confused my left and right when I was taking it off? I breath in and out, nearly huffing. I go out of the bathroom, to see Ben's sister sitting on my bed, my backpack in front of her. I feel my breathing stop, shocked. My brain flipped at the millions of thoughts that were colliding in my brain, creating new ones.
"Why? Why is she holding my backpack? Did she look through it? Or did she do it just to brush the dust off of it? No, that doesn't, no... impossible." My thoughts echo in my brain. How long have I been standing there? A few seconds? A few knocks on the door makes both of our heads turn, Ben's sister spotted me and flinched for a second but then just nodded. "Come in." I say. Ben slowly opened it, as he peeked in. "You can come in." I say. He nods and then looks at his sister. "I'm not disturbing anything right?" "Of course not." His sister says.
