I wake up. My hands were tied to a chair, hard. I turned to see Alisa in front of me, holding the black bow. "You are one fast mouse-like creature. Choosing the same weapon as your mother. Oh, wait, her weapon was a sword, no?" Alisa says, peering into me. "Where is Lucifer!" I yell as Alisa continued to peer into me. "Oh, your friend? He's okay, possibly back in his house, resting, not knowing where the heck you are!" She laughs hysterically and then frowns. "You're... so... naive. Am I right or what?" The guards behind her laugh stiffly. "What do you want from me!" I scream. She giggles and then looks at her guards for a second.

"Just like her mother... what I want? Your life. Your mother, you think she and your dad just went out of the walls because they were tired? No! They got kicked out! Because they humiliated my family! Yours, mine, Ben's! Okay?" She screams into my ear. Freak indeed. "I trust my mom." "Of course you do! I betrayed my mother!" She laughs again. Dang. "Just let me out..." I say fiercely, glaring at her. "How brave of you!" She stares at me, slowly pulling out a knife, holding it on my neck. I gulp. "Now, for the last descendant of the Moore family, or, should I say the Volun family?" She laughs again. Sheesh, the last thing I wanted to hear when dying. "Freeze." Somebody's voice was heard.

Alisa hurriedly looks back and forth, signaling to the guys to block everywhere. "I said freeze." The voice was still unrecognizable. Suddenly, a guard plops to the ground, full of blood. The other guards start to frown and wince. Another, and another. Alisa terrifyingly looks around. "Stop! Or I'll kill her!" She screams. The killer stops. Or, should I say my savior. "That's more like it." Alisa nodded. Then, just then, I feel something hit the ropes tying my hand. The sword. The killer. Suddenly, Alisa screams as she claws her foot. The killer, he or she cut Alisa's foot. Just then, I feel a hand holding mine, pulling me out. The chair topples, as I frantically try to match his or her pace. Pushing the doors, we run towards the library. The person opens one of the loose library windows, slipping in.

"Janny." I hear Lucifer's voice. "Lucifer, it's you?" "Yeah! I'm here!" "It was you?" "Of course." I hug him, whispering a little thank you. He hugs me back. "Hey, you two, Janny, what's with the whispering?" I hear somebody's voice saying out loud. "Ack!" "It's fine, it's just Helen." Lucifer says, calming me down in the dark. "Did you get all of them?" Lucifer asks Helen. I could hear Helen's fast nodding. Suddenly, I hear a fling, as Lucifer topples down. Helen immediately puts her hand over my mouth. She knows someone's here. She sharpens her senses, as I busily try to take the bow out of Lucifer. I could feel his hand stopping me. I hear another arrow, and this time, it's Helen's who got the guy.

Helen quickly runs back to us, tugging my necklace. I immediately take it off, as Helen sprints outside. "Come on." I whisper to Lucifer. He nods drowsily, nearly unable to stand. "You can do this, come on!" I bit into my lips, carrying him outside, using the door. Outside, Helen was shining the necklace's jewel as fast as she could. "Lucifer, hang in there buddy." I say to him. I just received a feverish nod. Then, I hear horse hooves, rattling as faster and faster. It halts to a stop and a person with a black cloak gets down from the black horse, looking at me, and then, at Helen. "It's me. Black Angel." The person just nods. She or he hoists all 3 of us on the horse, Lucifer clinging onto the person's arm.

We arrive somewhere, it was too dark to see. "Get off." He quickly says, carrying Lucifer. Helen and I exchange weird glances but nod all at once. We follow the person, going down to somewhere low. "Careful, the stairs are slippery." The person says. We continue down the stairs. We slowly see a light, candles. We enter a room full of weapons, and medical kits. The person takes off the cloak, revealing, the prince. "Why-" I start to say. He just shakes his head, signaling for us to go to another room. Helen and I obey. We close the door, and just stand in an empty room. We hear Lucifer groaning and screaming. After a few minutes, 10 or more, we hear the prince say, "Come out."

We do as he says, our eyes immediately searching for Lucifer. "He's over in the other room. You guys can visit." He just slightly bows, and starts to go up. "Wait." I call out. "I have to ask you something." I add. He stops and then comes back down. "My mom said that you were a friend of her. What exactly happened?"
