anyway spinel as a mf cowboy

im sure a western/southern au is not an original concept but heres my take

laliiyeaah has poisoned her followers this is based on her drawing of spinel in that western outfit sonic wore in the trailer go look at it on instagram

but let's not get iNto that

idk much about southern stuff yet so this au is gonna be like 80% stereotypical F

for the sake of my sanity cowboy spinel is not gonna be the lovable feral rat we see in the Chuck E Cheese AU. as much as I love her we're lookin at flirty "my horse aint gonna be what I'm ridin tonight ;-)" spinel which should hopefully make up for it :-D

I made up a whole thing here where pink used to live in the city and worked as one of the employees of Yellow's whole Tech Company thing cause she wasn't old enough to be a manager.

Yellow is her Mom, and Blue is Yellow's best friend since childhood. And White is Blue's mother, but also treats Yellow like her kid and Pink like a granddaughter. So The only diamonds related in the au are Blue and White, and Yellow and Pink. It's a huge excuse for Bellow Diamond

Yeah and even though Blue and Yellow and White loved Pink she would be bratty sometimes so that turned into neglect and making other employees look after her. And yes, those employees were Peeps and Spinel

Peeps and Spinel were like young tho but Pink loved entertaining them. Then Spinel's family had to leave the city, Peeps disappeared from Pink's life (she grew up to work in a coffee shop somewhere near), they were the best people to hang out with and even though the other Diamonds had a few other people look after her she got all angsty

Also Peeps and Spinel never really met until a few years later-

And yes, the reason why Pink left the city and changed her name and everything was to live out in the rural areas of the state with Pearl, the other employee looking after her. When moving out they made a few friends like Garnet and Bismuth, then later Amethyst. Then one day Rose found Greg and Steven happened. Steven grew up in the country as well

That's a uh summary of the au

Basically this was originally supposed to be just cowboy spinel x city girl peeps but that turned into a whole ass au so that's nice

Spinel was found tilling a bunch of fields on horseback while Steven and his family were out to get supplies. Eventually she became somewhat friends with them and would give them sweet deals on food

So whenever they had some form of house party (probably Amethyst's high school reunion, Steven's birthday, Christmas) Spinel would usually be there.

NoW, Somehow Steven and Greg were able to trace back Rose's origins and it turned out that she used to live in the city. Further letters hidden under the floor of her room said that she was related to Yellow Diamond.

So Steven goes out to investigate, finds out that she used to be Pink, and uh- idk honestly what kinda issues would come of this but Pearl is disappointed that she couldn't keep her secret. Not that it was any more relevant to the others so imma have to think more on that

Peeps worked at the coffee shop temporarily, and I guess White Diamond runs that shop. So it's like "White Diamond Café :-D" but she quits to work at the Yellow Diamond Tech Company Thing with Yelp and Bloop.

Bloop is Blue's assistant, Yelp is Yellow's, and Peeps is lost but ye

THen steven shows up and is like "hi I'm pink's son" and they're like "Oh hello :)"

then he's like "so I know how hard it can be to meet the kid of someone who's dead—"

and blue sobbing while yellow goes "bitch what-"

and everything is a mess but they come to terms because Steven is a good kid and they love him like they loved Pink. eventually

And they agree to come to their house for a sort of family reunion, and that's where the timeframe of "spinEarl" goes

The Diamonds realise how important Pink was to Peeps and vice versa, so they decided to bring her with their assistants (who are best friends so they didn't exactly have a choice) and yes.
