I couldn't
get that boy
out of
my mind.
It was like
he was
soaked
into my
brain.
I was
infatuated
with the way
he
kissed
me.
The way
he
touched
me.
I couldn't
stop
thinking
of him.
*************************************
I saw
Conner
in the
library.
He was
with that
red headed
girl
again.
I was
walking by
his aisle
when he
saw me.
The
girl
didn't.
So I just
pretended
to not be
listening to them
in the aisle
next to theirs.
I could
see them
through the
shelf.
She leaned
into him
with her
cherry lips
puckered,
and he
clearly
was not
feeling
the kiss.
She
didn't
notice.
There was
something
lingering
in the back
of his
mind.As for
my
relationship,
kissing
became
as natural
as breathing.As soon
as I
got home,
I opened
my
front door,
threw down
my book bag,
and I
jumped
into his arms.
I was
practically
eating
his face.
"Jesus, Lena,"
He had
one arm
around my
waist
and one arm
under my butt.
"'Not a how was your day being dead?' But a 'God, my main entree for dinner tonight is your face,'"
I laughed.
But he
just continued
to kiss me
and carry me
up the stairs.
And I
gladly
let him.
