In retrospect, it would've been a fun idea. However, things didn't go as plan. The pair of friends idea of fun was nothing like any friends would do. On their off days, one of them would go to the others house and do things. These "things" were definitely nothing like anyone would think of them doing. They liked to have sex.

Now, this all started when Natsu came over to her apartment, and he conveniently fell right on top of her when he crawled through the window. This led to some naughty actions afterwards. However, after they did it once, they couldn't help by doing it every time they were in private.

And no one knew...until now.

Lucy had stormed into guild with a stick in hand, bawling her eyes out. "How could you do this to me, Natsu?" She shouted, gaining everyone's attention.

All Natsu was doing before that was eating a ton of food, like usual. "Hm?"

The blonde huffed. "Oh, don't play coy with me. You know exactly what you did!"

Her hands were trembling, drawing attention toward the direction of the stick. "Luce? What is that thing?"

The thing that turned out not to be a stick was thrown at his head, almost perfectly hitting him square in the nose. "What do you think that is!? It's a positive pregnancy stick!" She ran over to him and slumped on top of him, crushing his limbs in the process.

A few whispers and yelps were strewn across the guild: "how could she be pregnant?" Or "they aren't even dating." However, this blew past the blondes' ears.

Natsu's face held nothing. It almost seemed like he didn't care. The thought of him leaving because of their stupid actions would inevitably crush her. "Why aren't you saying anything? Do you not want a child with me?!" She pounded into his chest, tears running down her face.

He smiled. "Oh, Lucy. . . I already knew you were pregnant." Her brows furrowed. "When a dragon mates, they mate for life. So when I came over that night, I was going to ask you if you wanted to be my mate and have kids with me. But when you made the first move, I didn't ask." He paused. "I'm sorry. I thought you loved me, too."

Gajeel's voice rang throughout the guild. "That's not how mating works, idiot?" Instead of engaging in a fight with him, Natsu decided to stay by his mate's side.

"Natsu..."

"But, if you weren't pregnant, that'd mean that you don't love me. So I don't know how you're pregnant if you don't feel the same way as I do. . ." He tailed off.

"I love you, too, Natsu. I just wish you would've told me that I would be pregnant if you loved me." She kissed jawline, making him look at her. "And I'd love to have kids with you. I just didn't expect to have them with you this soon."

"Aww." Mira chimes in. "When will my first grandson or granddaughter be arriving?"

"About 6 months," Natsu says. "Oh, and granddaughter."

"How do you know that? And how long have you and Lucy been together?" Mira asked.

"I can smell the gender once it's past 2 months."

"Oh, and Natsu and I aren't dating. We're still just friends." Lucy sighed, almost regretting those choice words.

"Are you sure? You're literally having a kid together, and you've slept together, and you basically do everything together. So I think that you guys are way more than 'just dating,'" Cana added.

"Well then, maybe we should make it official, Luce." He kissed her.

"Aww, I'm gonna have a mother now, too." Happy flew above them, landing on Lucy's head. "But when am I going to get a sibling?"

"We're you seriously not paying attention for the past ten minutes. Lucy and I are going to have a kid, and she'll be your sibling," Natsu added. "Also, I don't really want to date Lucy—"

"What?!"

"Lemme finish. I want to marry her."

Afterwards, they got married in Shrek's swamp. The End.
