"I wish I could make friends that easily," a voice mumbled from behind Sophie. Sophie whipped around and saw a short kid with strawberry blond hair and periwinkle eyes. Sophie laughed.

"You must be kidding," she answered, trying to remember his name. She'd seen him around multiple times, but she never took the time to ask his name. She thought it was something like Deck, but she didn't know for sure. "I don't have many friends. Just Jensi- and I guess Biana now."

"Well, that's two more than me," Deck responded sadly.

"Oh, well now your friend amount has risen to one!" Sophie exclaimed.

"Cool! Wait, who's my friend?" Dent asked.

Sophie giggled, "Me, silly!"

Dell's eyes widened. "Why would you want to be friends with me? I'm just the nerdy kid who sits in the back of the room?'

"Well I'm just the awkward clumsy kid in the back of the classroom, so we're even." Dot grinned and it lit up his whole face.

"Thanks, Sophie!"

"No problem! I need to go to class now, but before I go can I ask you a question?" Sophie asked, blushing.

"Of course!" he answered

"What's your name?" Sophie had a trick for these situations, so she didn't get to mad when he growled, "Dex."

"No, no, no!" Sophie exclaimed. "I meant your last name."

"Oh." Dex's face softened. "Dizznee. Like the movies."

"That's so cool! Well, I have to get to class. See you around!" Sophie started to walk off when she remembered something. She turned around to see Dex staring at her. "Right... we have class together..."

"Yep," Dex said, rolling his eyes.

Sophie was so embarrassed, but she tried to play it off as best as she could. "Sorry... Well are you coming or not?" she asked as she continued to their class.

"Yeah. I'll be right behind you," Dex sighed.
