Keefe looked around Sophie's room, examining the shelves. "You hardly have any personal touches in here. Just makes you all the more mysterious," Keefe noted.
Sophie blushed. "Yeah, I don't really have that much stuff for myself."
Keefe turned around, but didn't face her. Instead, his eyes landed on something on her bed. "Who's this?" he asked, holding up Ella, Sophie's bright blue stuffed elephant.
"Ummm, that's Ella. Please don't judge me."
Keefe laughed. "Why would I judge you? I have Mrs. Stinkbottom at my house. I can't sleep without her."
"Oh, co-" Sophie started but was cut off by a loud noise in the corner of the room. Sophie and Keefe both turned to see Iggy the gerbil running on his hamster wheel.
Keefe smirked. "So this must be the infamous Iggy who you used to go on and on to about that Ritz Cracker kid."
Sophie turned crimson. "I-I what?! Where did you hear that?"
"Grady may have mentioned it..." Keefe trailed off.
Sophie fumed. "Ugh, whatever. But yes, this is Iggy."
"But why is he ice blue?" Keefe asked.
"Oh, well Dex came over and we were hanging out, and he asked if he could dye Iggy. I said sure and to do it ice blue."
"Why ice blue?" Keefe teased.
"You know why, Sencen."
Ring! Sophie's phone startled them both. Sophie looked down and saw that it was from Biana. "Yes?" she answered, bringing the phone to her ear.
"I was just wondering if all of us could have a Team Valiant sleepover tonight! Come over at 6!" Biana exclaimed.
"Ugh, with Stina?" Sophie groaned.
"Yeah. Stina's not that bad," Biana replied. Like Biana had been here long enough to judge that.
"Fine, I'll go. Want me to tell Keefe and Dex?" Sophie offered.
"That would be great! See you soon!"
"What did she want?" Keefe asked.
"She's inviting all of us over for a Team Valiant sleepover. Oh, right. I told her I would tell Dex. One second." Sophie reached over to her phone and relayed the news to Dex.
"Hey, think of it this way, we get to spend more time together," Keefe told Sophie, smirking. Sophie's eyes brightened for a second before she realized something.
"But there will be other people," Sophie replied, frowning.
"Well we do need to spend time with our friends, too, Foster."
"Fine..."
