Totally (Tragic Love Series 1)

Darkness covered the sky. I laid on my blanket comfortably while staring at the night sky. Darkness is always my friend. I feel more safe and secured in the dark.

This few days, I did not talk to Kevin nor glance. I know Jade noticed it, especially she's a very observant kind of person.

It hurts to say but, I think my heart beat is no more normal. Everytime he's around, my heart pounds times two than usual. And I can feel butterflies dancing in my stomach.

At first, I thought I have some sort of illness or something.

But I was wrong...

"Summer, I have a favor to ask."

I snapped back to reality upon hearing her voice.

"Ask Kevin if he likes me."

I froze on my spot trying to absorb her words. Is she crazy or what? How could a girl act like that? As far as I know, a man do moves like this first.

"Please? I know you can't resist me. I promise you, after you do this...I'll do everything you ask me."

How can I resist? She's my best friend after all. I'd rather trade my happiness for her own. I had no choice but to do what she said. I contacted Kevin and waited.

"Kevin, do you like my friend?"

I went straight to the point. I want this over. I can't bear sitting infront of him with my heart pumping loudly. This isn't normal.

"I do."

It felt like knives stabbed my chest. He said it as if he was in a wedding with my friend as his bride. I can not deny the fact that I am falling already.

And it hurts seeing them both happy with each other.

They're not yet in a relationship but I can't stop the feeling that I am jealous. I am madly jealous and it sucks.

"Would you help me?"

I smiled bitterly. Funny how the guy you liked asked your help to get the girl he wants. Without hesitation,

"Okay."

It's either me or my feelings. God, this is totally complicated.
