“Your Mom will be fine. She just needs a rest after stressing herself out. I will be giving her this pills for her weak heart. Just make sure she’s reminded to drink this on time to lessen her heartache.”

Jade held my arm as a tear escaped her eye. It’s a pity of her. Her Mother is still sleeping.

She hugged her Mom and sobbed. It is 4:30am. I guess I’m not attending school today. I should stick by her side, she needs me.

I went home to packed Jade’s clothes, she’ll be staying in the Hospital with her Mom.

“I should visit Mrs. Bakers, poor her.”

Mom and Jade’s Mom are close friends since grade school, I think? Yeah, that long. Good thing they’re staying strong and keeping their friendship. They’re not best friends, but, sort of.

Complicated, I know. That’s what Mom said though.

I went to school since Mrs. Bakers is already discharged. I have missed many lesson and now they’re saying the Exams are next week?

What the heck.

“Here, borrow this for a while. I know it will be hard for you to catch up. But I’m willing to tutor you.” He smiled.

He is Mike, the nerd guy in class. They said, he likes me. But I doubt that, he’s just kind.

He blushed when I thanked him. Okay..?

I went home after school. I copied and did a research about the lessons. Especially, Mathematics. My brain is too small for it.

I called Jade and sent her the lessons.

“Thanks, girl. I’m sorry for—”

“It’s okay. Atleast I helped. What more matters is you and your Mom’s safe.”

I imagined her smiling. I do this everytime she’s down, comfort her.

“Everything will be fine.” I assured her.

I hope so.
