Saving The Day

31 Part 1

"Holly! Come here!"

I walk over to Jill, and I already know what she's going to tell me.

"What's going on out there?" She pulls me to the side, and I catch my breath. We're doing a scrimmage, and ever since Christen and I talked that one night.. I haven't been playing well. I've been scored on 4 times this scrimmage.. that never happens.

"I'm just-"

"It's because of me Coach" I'm interrupted by Christen. I shake my head at her, and Jill looks at both of us. She calls on Dawn to take charge, she tells us to follow her to the locker room.

"Alright both of you explain, starting with you Chris"

"Holland and I had an argument, we had .." Chris looks at me with sadness in her eyes "different feelings about how we felt with our... Long distance friendship" She lies to Jill. Who looks gullible enough to believe it.

"You guys need to talk this out because you're both off your game, and we can't have that." Jill tells us pointing at us, she looks at us sternly before turning to walk out of the locker rooms. I look at Christen, and see she's looking away not wanting to meet my eyes. I take a step towards her, and she does too as if I was radioactive.

"Chris"

"Christen" she corrected me, it sent a pain to my heart when she did that. I nodded sadly at her, and try to carry on.

"Christen, I'm sorry.. that's all I can really say"

"It's fine Holly, I can't make you feel the same way I feel"

I don't know what came over me, but I step towards her. She doesn't move,  I lean towards her.

"What are you doi-"

I brush my lips against hers, I feel her breath hit my lips. I adjust my hand on her hip, ushering her closer to me. I close the distance between us, and I press more against her she kisses back with as much hunger as me. A sensation runs down my spine, and the hair on my arms stand up, I feel this fuzzy feeling in my stomach. The sound of the locker room door opening, makes us pull away.

"Oh shit" Kelly walks in, great of all people. She looks at us mischievously grinning. I look at Christen, and she looks at me.

"I get it, locker room sex is like you shouldn't be doing it but you just can't take your hands off of each other so you make the best of it"

"Kelly.. are you talking from experience?" I smirk, and she laughs nervously.

"Kelly-yy" Christen speaks up, Kelly laughs louder nervously and shakes her head.

"Who did you have locker room sex with?" I ask her

"Is this a bad time?" We hear Pinoes voice, we turn around. Few of our teammates standing by the locker room door, now curiously staring at Kelly for an answer. I reach for Christens hand, and we back away letting Kelly be questioned instead of us. We turn around but we're stopped in our tracks.

"You two aren't off the hook" Alex tells us, and I turn around looking at her. She quirks her eyebrow as if I was challenging her. Which.. I maybe was.

"Yeah! What were you guys doing in here?" Pinoe questions, the locker room doors open. Now everyone walking in, and notices us being surrounded.

"Holly!"

I look to the direction of the door, and I see Carli holding it. She waves me over.

"Coach wants us to talk to us" she tells me, and the girls open a walkway for me. I excuse myself, and I follow Carli out. We make our way outside, and I see no ones out here.

"Where's coach?"

"She didn't call for us, but I figured you needed saving back there" she tells me chuckling. I smile, and I pat her shoulder.

"Thanks Cap, you really did save me there."

"No problem, but since you didn't play good today. You owe me push ups and laps"

"Seriously?"

"Just a few" she tells me, and I nod. She holds her watch up, and the timer starts. I start running.

Time Skip

I walk into the locker room, and I head to the showers. Afterwards, we hear someone come in. Since it was only Carli and I in here.

"Bus is here, hurry up" Dawn shouts into the locker room. I quickly change, and grab my stuff. Carli meets me at the door, and we walk to the exit.

We get on the bus, and all eyes are on me. Some are grining and smirking, others curious. I take my usual seat with Tobin, and she looks up from her phone.

"So Kelly told us"

"She did?" I whisper, and she nods disappointed. I can't believe the whole team knows, I mean seriously universe you just had to make sure Kelly saw it.

"Locker room sex with Christen? I get it, but with Kelly too?" Tobin whispers.

What the fuck? I turn around, and get up from my seat

"Kelly!"

"Shit!!" I hear her yell scared. She hides behind Alex.
