Arriving to class, he made sure to sit closest to the exit. Even though he was good in science, he liked going unnoticed. That would made them stare less.
Because it was pretty usual for people to ask about soulmates and if you don't have any mark you would be an outcast. Changkyun sighed, tapping with his pen as the professor entered.
Thank god this wasn't high school and he didn't need to introduce himself. He hated that people would ask him about his soul mark. Well, not really, he just didn't like talking about that. Maybe he was one of those who was overly excited to meet their soulmate.
Or not. He was before.
He set down his books, sighing as he finally settled down. He really wished any of his friends was here though. They would make him feel less insecure and he would at least be able to talk to someone.
But then, when he was alone he could enjoy the silence. Suddenly, the chair beside him was pushed on the side, the person setting down his books to sit down beside him. He stared wide eyed on the male who now sat down and smiled.
"Hey, you must be new right? He shyly nodded and greeted the other. The black haired male just laughed and smiled. "I'm Gunhee! Nice to meet you!"
"Nice to meet you too Gunhee-ssi. I'm Changkyun." He spoke with a quiet voice, avoiding to draw attention as he looked around. Thankfully no one had acknowledged them.
Gunhee chuckled. "You are a quiet one aren't you?"
He nodded subtly, opening his book as the other began a conversation between them, telling him about the class and persons in campus.
"You know the professor?" Changkyun nodded and looked at her, where she now was typing something on her computer.
"That's ms.Kim but she insist us calling her professor Eunji. She's pretty cool, the morning lessons aren't necessary boring." Gunhee flipped through his book, his full attention still on the younger.
"If you come a bit late or sleep in, she'll let it slip if you pay attension the rest of the lesson." That was a good thing to know. The professor looked pretty chill anyways.
Gunhee continued to talk about some people he should know, making him actually talk in the conversation too. He laughed as the older made some joke, smiling as he stopped look around. "Thank you for talking to me Gunhee-ssi."
"Oh, just call me hyung! Besides, you looked like you needed something uplifting." He rolled with his eyes as the other laughed.
"What exactly do you mean with that?" Gunhee didn't answer, just smiling. Well, at least he wouldn't be bored every morning lesson. The professor started the lesson and he pushed his thoughts aside to listen.

He waved goodbye to Gunhee before heading towards his next lesson. Who would knew he would make friends so fast? Changkyun had always been the quieter one at first.
Sometimes he wished they could go to America again. He was more relaxed there and he got friends there too. Speaking of friends, where were all his friends by now? He thought Jihoon would come and take this class with him.
Just as if someone had read his mind, the younger appeared out of nowhere. "Hyung!"
He turned around, smiling and waved at him as Jihoon came closer. "Aren't you pretty early Jihoon?"
The other shrugged, holding his phone, seemingly chatting with his boyfriends a minute ago. Changkyun giggled as he saw the colours splayed on the younger's skin. Jihoon did in fact have a big white spot on his cheek with tints of white on his lips, his hands decorated with sparkling yellow and warm brown colours. "Looked like they decided to shower you with skinship?"
Jihoon just shook his head, putting away his phone. "You have no idea hyung. They even know I don't like touching that much."
"But they are your boyfriends and you are soft for them. I'm pretty sure they know that." He laughed as Jihoon blushed and began stuttering, muttering something about unfair. Though, he wasn't entirely wrong either. Both Jihoon and Yoongi were like tsunderes and their boyfriends seemed not to mind. Sometimes he wondered how Jihoon's siblings could be really alike and totally different persons on the same time.
Jihoon rubbed his cheek. "How do you even cover this? Jeonghan hyung just had to kiss me where everyone could see." Changkyun smirked and chuckled as he looked at Jihoon. The younger narrowed his eyes. "It's called marking Jihoonie. They show others you belong to them."
He just smiled mischievously, causing Jihoon to shake his head. "Besides, you are really cute and small, no wonder they want to protect you."
"HEY! I'm NOT cute!" Jihoon made an irritated face, Changkyun laughed as they began moving across campus to the classroom. "Yeah and I'm straight."
Jihoon muttered something something he didn't catch but knowing the other, it must've been a curse thrown his way.
Well, at least now he didn't need to be half awake like during morning class.
