He hummed as the professor talked, telling them that they had a presentation next week.
Thankfully he knew this and the presentation would be easy. It went smoothly of course, he did study science after all.
He hardly heard more from Dongmin, let alone see the younger on campus. Changkyun couldn't really help to worry about the younger.
He did catch up with many old friends and make new ones as he went to lesson with them. He had even talked more to Gunhee, the older had a fun sense of humor.
Well, basically everyone liked Gunhee.
Changkyun hummed as Gunhee seemed to talk about his other close friends, not really paying attention until he heard the older mention something about pink hair.
Wait, pink hair?
"Hyung?" Gunhee stopped talking for a moment, glancing curiously at him. "Is something wrong?"
Maybe he heard wrong? Changkyun didn't know. He wanted to meet that person, but on the same time he was scared. So damn scared.
"Never mind, I thought you were saying something else." Gunhee just looked at him before shaking his head and pulling the younger into another conversation.
~~
Lunch arrived and he made his way to the cafeteria. Jihoon told him they were going to meet him there but since Wonwoo had other classes, he suspected they'd be a little bit late.
He took his time as he chose a table, sitting down and calmly began to eat. Most of the time, he waited for his friends to come.
Changkyun had his earphones on as he pulled the hood over his head, looking out of the window as soft music played in his ears. People went by, never noticing him.
Perfect.
As Violet began playing, his mind wandered off to that pink haired boy.
They only saw each for a few seconds, not even officially meeting one and other. Why was his mind replaying that moment all the time?
He groaned. This was going to be his death, always grumbling over this. That guy could not even be his soulmate!
Changkyun shook his head, clearing his mind. Everything in that moment was just his imagination.
As he tried to clear his mind, Changkyun hadn't noticed Jihoon arrive until the younger was waving his hand in front of his face, trying to gain his attention. The shorter laughed as he blinked, finally snapping out of his daze.
"You seem a lot in your own world these days. What are you thinking about?" He just shrugged as the younger ordered pink milkshake. He smiled as he looked around, confused.
"I thought Wonwoo Hyung was coming here?" Jihoon shook his head, playing with the paper towels on the table. "He said he would be here soon. Besides I was tired of their teasing so I went first."
"Ah, they talked about your height again?" The younger grimaced.
"I'm not that short!" Changkyun laughed, pulling off his hood.
"I am short, Jihoonie and you are shorter than me. So yes, you are that short. Besides-" Both of them accepted the drinks that arrived, Changkyun chuckling at the drink Jihoon got. The younger sarcastically mimicked him and complained as he watched the older sip on his chocolate drink.
"You are really cute, Jihoonie~ No wonder your boyfriends adores you~" He cooed as the other facepalmed, sighing as he pouted. He really hated being called cute.
Changkyun looked at the bright colours on his face, Wonwoo's brown mixing on his cheeks together with pink ( who he supposed was Jeonghan ). From where they sat, he suspected the older had stolen a kiss and the hilarious yet beautiful results showed clearly on Jihoon's face.
Jihoon noticed his gaze. "Is there something on my face?"
The older laughed. "Yeah, the colours are clearly visible."
As the older blushed and began to curse his soulmates, Changkyun laughed. None of them noticed the pink haired guy entering the cafeteria, looking around.
[...]
Jihoon almost immediately hide his drink as Wonwoo and Mingyu decided to storm into the cafe. Luckily for him, they were loud and the smallest had enough time to drink up and set the glass into another table, pretending he never saw it. Changkyun laughed at the actions, leaving the two others to look confusedly between them.
"What did we miss?" Mingyu sat down beside Jihoon, throwing his arm around the smaller. Jihoon glared at him but decided to let it slip as he looked at Changkyun, Wonwoo slinking down beside the other.
"Nothing really~" Changkyun chuckled as Jihoon nodded subtly, eyes telling him to not tell them.
"What took you two so long? It's been at least 15 minutes." Mingyu picked up a strawberry as he rolled it between his fingers. "Well, we met Seungcheol Hyung, he asked us to be home at least 7 if we were going anywhere after class."
"Nothing else?" Wonwoo shook his head.
"Ah and we also kind of met a few people on the way? It took longer than we expected." The two of them looked at each other, shrugging.
Whatever reason those two had, Changkyun guessed that it would still not go faster even if they didn't met other friends in the way. Jihoon seemed to agree for that part.
They talked a bit more, at least for an half hour more before Mingyu's next class started. The three others were going the same way, Changkyun suspected the two had something planned as they kept on glancing in each other and back at Jihoon all the time. He laughed quietly for himself.
"Yah, goodbye hyung. See you tomorrow!" He nodded, waving at the three as they left. Changkyun gathered his things, putting them into the bag before rising up. Just as he was going to leave the table he accidentally bumped into somebody.
He cursed his clumsiness as he apologized, helping the person to pick up his books.
"I'm so sorry, I didn't watch where I was going-"
"No,it's alright, I didn't either." The make smiled slightly thanking him as they gathered his books. They looked up, eyes meeting.
Changkyun's eyes widened. In front of him was the pink haired guy, looking as equally shocked as him. Just in that moment, they accidentally brushed their fingers by each other and Changkyun immediately pulled back when he felt the electricity running up his arm.
They looked at each other's hands, eyes wide as colors were splattered across their palms.
He felt how his breath caught in his throat.
What the hell?
