The morning brought iv's being removed. Surgical sites being checked and re bandaged. Extra supplies given. Instructions and appointment's printed out. Discharge papers signed and ladies dressed.

The room being packed and then wheel chair rides down to the rv. Bull carried each lady up the four stairs. Setting Sam in a recliner and Eden on the table that was turned into a bed for with extra pillows. Bull even put a safety railing up for her so she would not fall when she went to sleep.

Drinks were put in holders and items were checked. Dev visited them before they left bringing Eden a large case of Tattoo equipment including one of every color ink. He also brought her drawing stuff. He even brought a gift for Grant. It was the stuff for Eden to pierce her navel. She had plans to do it on there one month but never got there. After he hugged them all he left.
The last ones to say good by were Sally and Danny. They made them promise to listen for the call of the island.

Mal had a surprise for them all. Fabio came out of the back bedroom. Grant was excited to see him the most. He told the trio he was with them for a week then he was going back to his new man. Bull laughed. As much as he wanted them to bond he knew that Fabio being there was a good thing. He was a good cook and he knew Grant was comfortable with him. So he would be a help especially if something came up they did not want to talk to him about. Fabio sat down across from Grant and started talking to her about random shit. Mostly harassing her about Eden. Eden joined it and before long it turned into full blown sexual harassment of each other. Asking questions and cracking jokes making promises of nights and days and every moment in between.

After a bit Eden and Grant took there pain meds. The trip was hardest on Grant. She felt every bump. Bull made her drink some milk with her pill so she did not puke. It happened once in the hospital so they learned there lesson. The ladies slept the rest of the way there. Bull telling Mal and Fabio about what happened and about Edens son with Edens permission of course. Also about his fears in regards to them. They agreed with him about the shadows lurking. About how they would probably have some feelings come up that were going to take time to deal with. Before they got to his house Bull woke the ladies up. Wanting them to see his humble abode as they pulled up the driveway.

The house itself sat on eighty acres. With a half mile long driveway with a gate securing it. It was also secured with a fence. The house itself was a log cabin style with lots of wood and open spaces. Five bedroom and six bathrooms. Also a indoor pool. He had it put in when he messed up his knee.
There was a four car garage that had two vehicles in it. A four door sedan and a dodge ram king cab. The back of the house over looked a large pond with a dock. It was all frozen now but still looked nice. Bull carried Eden in and Fabio grabbed Grant while Mal started to unload. Asking what the hell was in the locked chest. Grant told him it was her booty because she was a pirate. Bull and Eden just laughed because they knew some of the fun stuff Grant had in it.

When everything was put in the living room it was pushing seven and all of them were a bit tired so they decided on cereal for dinner. Then bed. The ladies chose to sleep in the master bedroom at night and crash in the living room during the day. When Fabio tried to carry Grant up the stairs she put up a struggle. She wanted to at least try to walk up them. The doctor gave her the go ahead to do so. She was allowed to do what ever she wanted as long as she was careful. She managed to get half way up before she could go no farther. Tomorrow she told herself .

As Fabio carried Grant into Bull's room she did not know what to say. She was stunned. His room was perfect. A kind sized bed, four poster. A headboard carved with bison, and native wildlife. It was made of a lighter wood with animals being stained slightly darker or lighter. There were lights built into the headboard that illuminated the area. There were big windows across from the bed with the shades pulled down. A few large dressers were scattered about, a sitting area with a big tv mounted on the wall. Grant walked around a bit discovering the bathroom. It was done in light colored wood. Lots of nature brought in. The shower looked like it was a in the middle of a forest. The tiles looked like trees with ferns as the bottom. Even the floor looked like pine needles. The tub was large and black with tiny specks of golds and silvers and blues and reds and oranges. It reminded her of the sky at night. There were his and her sinks with a place to sit down to do make up if someone wanted to. The floor was warm on Grants feet, this must be heated she thought. It too looked like a meadow. She even spotted a butter fly or two. She was in love with it.

She felt arms snake around her belly and she leaned back into them. A second later a set of lips were kissing her neck. She groaned. This man was her world. She told him she loved his room and he corrected her. There room. He asked her if she wanted one like in the house in Montana. She was struggling with that one. How does she tell him that she is not sure she can return there, that like Eden that town felt tainted. She knew she would have to at some point. Just not now.

Eden hobbled in and sat on the toilet just to get off her leg. It was hurting her to stand as the doctor told her it would. They moved over to her and put there arms around her. Including her in there hug. She smiled and leaned forward. This was the reason she did not die. The reason she was alive.

"So do you like what you have seen?" Bull asked hoping that they loved his home. When he was not teaching in Montana he hoped to spend a lot of time here. He was only a few miles from his family. A matter of fact his mom was coming over tomorrow to see him. He had explained to her about what was going on and she seemed to have accepted it.

"I like it a lot. I will tell you I wont like the blinds being open at night for a long time if ever. Its taking me time to remember that he is gone. No more a threat to me. Will what is going to happen to his body?" Eden asked.

"I don't know for sure. His family does not want it back in NY. I suppose the county will bury him" he told her being honest.

"I want to pay for a proper burial. I have the money" Eden told him.

"Why, he tried to kill you and Sam and killed your son Eden. I don't get it" and he truly did not.

"Because no matter how horrible he was and no matter what he did, I was still in love with him a one point and he was Gabriel's father. He has paid the intimate price as he should have. I feel like that It will help me heal to do it. Honestly its for me. Not for him. Please understand. When I got with him he was not a psycho. He was charming and kind and sweet. Its all over. He is dead. Does that make what he did OK? Hell no. I just think that I need let him go, the fear, the anger, everything. Bury it all with him and be done with it. Does make sense?" Eden asked him hoping he understood.

"Yeah I get it. Sorta. If that's what you want. I will set it in motion tomorrow"

"Thank you, on top of that had it not been for him we would not be together. Because of him I found you both. It all ended up OK." Eden told them pulling them closer. Grant was silent. She got it but still hated the man.

Bull undressed them for bed. Climbing into the middle and got them there medications for them. Grant grumbling about taking her pain pill but did it anyway. He pulled the covers and popped the TV on to some documentary about drugs.

Grant pondered what Eden had said about Templeton. She came to the conclusion that Eden was trying to let it go so that the relationship she had with her and Bull was not tainted by hatred and bitterness. That they started out on a good note. That Eden had the ability to forgive and move on. That amazed her. Its something she wished she could do because at the moment she wished she could kick the shit out of him. Torture him over and over again. Make him scream till he could not utter another sound. She knew ways from her days in the Corp. Good old uncle sam trained them well.
