Arriving at the dance was a pretty big excitement for Jamie a bit of and embarrassment for Jessie.
Wearing their matching pink dresses they entered the makeshift ballroom.
"Ok girls you are on your own tonight and I expect you to have fun. Help yourself to the food but of course no alcohol. There are only two rules other than these do not leave the building and come see Nana when you need changing. I do not want you girls to wait till you're on the verge of leaking.
"Yes Nana the girls said in unison." They then went looking for something to do. Before they knew it the band started playing. To the surprise of both girls soon they were being asked to dance.
Both girls of course consented Jamie seemed to be enjoying it Jessie was a bit embarrassed to be dancing with sixteen and seventeen year old boys.
Jessie noticed her diaper was wet and went to find Nana. Nana smiled and took her by the hand and led her to the changing area.
Jessie just closed her eyes and accepted the change. Deciding she did not want to let embarrassment ruin her evening.
After the change she returned to the dance floor the first thing she saw was Michael walking in with his Mom and his cane.
Jessie thought how badly she wanted to go to him and take him in her arms. Suddenly she started to walk towards him.
Jamie was watching the whole scene; she made her way towards the bandstand thinking it was a time for a little music.
Jamie quickly conversed with the band, just as Jessie made it to Michael.
"Hello Michael how are you doing."
Michael turned to face Jessie; he knew whom it was even though he could not see her.
"Hi Jessie how are you doing?"
"Still diapered I guess." As long as Jessie would live she would wonder why she said that.
Mike just smiled "So am I Jessie at least tonight. I have however been working on dealing with this blind thing."
"So how about you and I have the next dance handsome?"
Just then the band broke bad with Percy Sledges "When a man loves a woman" Jamie singing the lead of course.
Jamie smiled as she watched Michael and Jessie dance. Actually every eye in the hall was watching them as they glided gracefully across the floor.
When the song ended Jamie did not want to stop.
Jamie broke into and old rock and roll dance song just to see if she could get some action on the dance floor it went something like this.
