4. Can I Have Your Number?

Also for clarification, I know irl Frank didn't work at B&N, but for story purposes i made it that way. plus hes a bookworm

It's Saturday and Gerard wasn't happy. Saturdays was the busiest work day and he had to deal with a lot of people. On top of that, he woke up late and Mikey was pounding a pillow in his face until he got up. He threw on some black and wanted to put on eyeliner because he thought he should since he worked at Hot Topic but Mikey slapped him and said to hurry up. Gerard had never experimented with eyeliner before but took some of his mom's to try someday. The brothers got on their bikes and started pedaling fast to the mall.

They arrived and Bert had already set up as usual then proceeded to go to the back. Gerard liked it when Mikey came to work. It was only the third week of working so the third time Mikey came because it was a weekend.

Gerard texted Frank telling him he was sorry he couldn't meet him in the morning because of the business but he understood and said the same thing. He sent a smiley face emoji then put his phone away.

"Why are you smiling so much? Is it a girl?"

Gerard didn't know what to tell Mikey about him being gay. He also had a feeling that Mikey would be fine with it since he was the best brother ever.

I met someone. Gerard signed giving one of those awkward smiles when you can't stop yourself from it.

"Who? Hot? Cute? Short? Tall?!" Mikey shouted a bit too loud excitedly.

Gerard made the shushing motion. Use sign language. I don't want anyone hearing.

Okay. Mikey replied.

It's a boy... Gerard said shutting his eyes not wanting to see Mikey's reaction until he felt his brother wrap his arms around him.

"I knew it!" He jumped up and down.

Gerard aggressively motioned for him to be quiet again. I'll tell you more during lunch break and introduce him to you. People are coming now.

"Okaayyyy," Mikey said.

People started coming and this time Mikey greeted them so it didn't seem awkward of Gerard just sitting there. Mikey liked volunteering and Gerard signed to him You're my savior

"I'm glad," Mikey said.

Mostly people were just browsing in the store but there was a sale (and everyone loved sales because Hot Topic was so damn expensive) so some would buy a lot. People went in and out with Mikey looking at everything in the store and making sure everything was perfect. He also would laugh at stupid designs.

This one boy came in and right away grabbed five shirts, a whole ton of wrist bands and other stuff and brought it up to buy.

"Hi, is this all?" asked Mikey.

"You look awfully young to work here," he said.

"I'm volunteering. I'm here on every Saturday." Mikey handed the shirts to Gerard to scan up.

"Who are you?" he asked Gerard. You guys have the same face. Are you brothers?"

Gerard nodded. He finished putting everything neatly in the bag and handed it to the boy.

"Have a nice day!" Mikey said smiling.

"Thanks," the boy replied. He looked at Gerard for a while who just smiled.

"I need to use the bathroom. I'll be right back. Then we can go for lunch," Mikey said patting Gerard's back. Lunch break was soon. Gerard pulled out his D&D dragon figure and started tracing along the edges. He was eager to introduce Frank to his brother.
