no one reads my story but i don't care. sometimes i wonder why my fucked up brain would think of a story like this...

Frank got off the plane excited telling his mom Gerard was going to be there. He ran through the terminals with his mom yelling saying she needed to use the bathroom but Frank didn't care. He ran straight through the exit doors but his face fell when he didn't see Gerard anywhere.

"Mom. He's not here." Frank pulled out his phone. He knew Gerard wouldn't miss him for the world. Gerard couldn't live without him. He texted him but no response. That's when he texted Mikey.

Mikey instantly called him.

"Hey Mikey? Where are you guys?"

"Did you not hear the news? Fucking come to our house now!!" Mikey was crying and hung up.

"Somethings wrong mom. We're going to his house."

"Honey, let me first go to the bathroom."

---

Frank kept pressuring his mom to hit the pedal harder until they made it to his house. Frank jumped out and ran inside as the door was unlocked. He ran upstairs to Mikey's room where he and his mom was.

"Where's Gerard."

They looked miserable.

"He-He got, he's missing," Mikey's voice wavered.

He just sent Frank a recording of the news.

The whole ten minutes, Frank listened in on the details up until how his dad wasn't revealing details about how Gerard was out there. He could be dead. He could've been- Frank didn't even want to think about it.

He broke down too and sat on Gerard's bed. He asked his mom if they could drive to Kansas to find him. Frank was determined to hunt out but she said that's the official's job.

All he could do was sit and wait for updates. He prayed Gerard was okay and everything was going to be fine.

---

Gerard faced the fact: He was going to die.

It was already next morning and he hadn't eaten anything or drank anything for a few days. Plus, there was no water and he was still a mess. The dry red blood looked almost black and he was very dirty in general. He remembered last night how he fell asleep in the field under the stars.

Gerard dusted himself off and got up and started walking again but was getting very weak. That's when he saw a town with actual lights and cars going the other direction! There must be people or reception. He struggled to get there and he was only a few feet away from the front door.

The town was only maybe the size of four blocks but there was a motel. At this point, he didn't think about safety. He was sure it was safe.

He opened the door and to his luck there was someone there at the front.

Gerard's legs gave out and he collapsed on the carpet.

"Oh my god. It's that boy they've been looking for."

He quickly bent down to Gerard who felt like he was going to pass out again.

"We need to get him to a hospital."

"The nearest one is forty minutes away."

"I can get him there in twenty."

He felt someone lift him up and carry him into a car which sped along the highway.

"You're okay kid. He felt someone give him water and he gulped down the entire bottle." Instantly, Gerard felt some life come back into him but not much longer."
