#18 - A Luna's Instinct [pt. 2]

Summary - When Destiny, Alina, and Galaxy run after Forest, they end up watching a fight between the school's Alpha and the school's omega. However, Destiny gets a funny feeling inside her....a feeling that tells her she needs to fight another to truly be the Ultima's Luna....

[ Her Voice ]

Blade ducked as the sword cane hurling after him, wincing as he watched the blade stab a tree.

Galaxy, Forest, Destiny, and Alina all ran after him.

"Destiny, what are you doing?"Alina whispered harshly.

"There!"Galaxy interrupted the duo as the meif'wa spotted him, running after him.

She had trouble catching up to him as he was too fast for her own liking so she decided to shift into her cat form and went after Blade that way. A lavender colored wolf ran past her as Destiny and Forest stayed back.

"Huh?!"Galaxy asked, seeing the wolf suddenly stop.

"You tell me people are watching, well, someone's watching you Alina."a jet black wolf with red tipped ears and tail stepped out of the shadows.

Alina shifted back to her human form. "Whoops."she muttered, her lavender colored werewolf ears and tail exposed.

"How long."Galaxy asked, shifting back to normal and crossing her arms.

Alina shared a look with Blade, who nodded; telling her it was safe for her to tell it.

"She's a meif'wa so she's not harmed by them."he told her.

"Since birth. We both were born werewolves."Alina explained as Blade shifted back to human, his Ultima werewolf ears and tail exposed as well.

"Wait, what do you mean I'm not harmed by them? Not harmed by what exactly?"Galaxy asked, seeming confused as to why Blade said that.

Again, she watched as Alina and Blade shared yet another glance with one another before Alina nodded; while it wasn't her secret to share, she knew Galaxy wouldn't get harmed by his eyes.

It was at this moment did Galaxy realize Blade had a bandana around his eyes. She watched him take it off, revealing red eyes?

Since when did Blade have red eyes? She thought he had black like Aaron did.

"I was born with them. They're known as untamed eyes of the Ultima at least that's what I've been told they're called."Blade explained.

Galaxy jumped, she must've said her thoughts aloud by accident.

"I promise, I won't tell a soul. Wait, who all knows besides your family?"Galaxy asked again.

"Nightmare, Kim/Emmalyn, Garroth, Lucy, Forest, Brave, Nana, Zane, Melissa, Eric, Tatiana, Ein, Phantom, Nathan, Delilah, Dottie, Daniel, Rylan, Tori, Thea, Holly, Maria, and Diana but I took away her ears and tail because she kept hitting on Dad."Blade explained.

"That's a lot....but I'm assuming they won't tell the GF right?"Galaxy stated.

"Guys?!"Forest's shout rang through the forest as Alina quickly hid her ears and tail away while Blade pulled his hood over his and tucked his tail in.

Blade tied his bandana around his eyes as Forest and Destiny came running up to the trio. He saw the purple sword leaning against a tree trunk as he grinned, coming up with a devious plan. He took off, snatching the sword as he ran further into the forest.

"Blade?"Destiny's soft angelic voice rang out as she attempted to go after him.

He froze, hearing her soft voice echo. Blade wished he could talk but knew he couldn't as his fangs decided to appear, meaning anyone who saw them would know he's a werewolf.

"Blade, babe. Listen to me! Why are you running away? We're your friends who care about you."Destiny spoke up, effectively making her voice heard.

Galaxy, Alina, and Forest all watched the duo talk or try to.

"Damn it Blade! I'm trying to talk to you! I can't do that if you WON'T TALK TO ME!"she screamed as Blade mentally punched himself.

"Fine."he said, making sure not to expose his fangs nor his eyes.

"You wanna talk, let's talk."he added, not turning around to face her.

Destiny reached up to grab his shoulder to forcefully turn him around but boy did she make a huge mistake....

....she came face to face with Blade's untamed eyes as she had miraculously taken off his bandana without even her knowing it.

"Destiny!"he called, watching her fall to the ground in severe pain.

[daydream ends]

"Destiny?"Blade laughed, waking her from her dream as she found herself with sleep marks on her arm.

She blinked, before yawning. "Did **yawn** I fall asleep again?"she asked him as he nodded with a frown.

"Yeah but you were screaming my name...like I was doing something I'd regret."he told her.

"Like turning me with your eyes?"she asked, standing up from her desk and pushing her chair in as Blade bumped into a nearby desk.

"Ow, Destiny, you know I'd never turn you against your will. If you ask me to, then maybe but never against your wish."Blade explained, rubbing his arm as it was his right arm that bumped into the desk out of shock.

Destiny gave him a smile. "Then, maybe in the near future, could you turn me?"she asked him.

"Maybe, babe."he told her, softly kissing her head as the two walked out of the room only to be met with a flyer to their faces.

"Read it. Now."Nightmare panted, as Blade took the flyer off his face and read it.

The flyer said:

The untold legend awaits! Come join us in the auditorium for the telltale legend of the first werewolf!

"Well, this is just charming."Blade muttered to himself.

"With this letter and proof is she has some, she could easily expose you Blade. Then, we'd all be screwed."Destiny stated.

"BRAVE, GET AWAY FROM ME!"a voice screamed as Blade, Destiny, and Nightmare all ran to where the screaming was.

They stared as Brave tried to actually kiss Alina, Nightmare shook his head. "Well, he's a dead man."he mumbled as Destiny nodded.

"Step away from her."Blade said, trying to be the natural born Alpha he was.

"Never."Brave told him and threw an all too familiar potion on her.

Alina's dark chocolate eyes turned bright emerald green as Brave handed her a knife from his back pocket.
