#35 - "Ever heard of the Ultima?"

Summary - Fate has mysterious ways of working its magic.

Nicole Von Rosenburg walks up to Katelyn's house with a tiny hand held firmly in hers. She knocks gently and waits impatiently for Katelyn to answer.

"Yes? Can I help you—Nicole?!" Katelyn yawns before she realizes who's standing at her door.

"Surprise, Katelyn!" Nicole laughs.

She pulls Katelyn into a tight hug for a few minutes before breaking the hug apart and stepping back. "Ahem," Katelyn clears her throat, "who's this?" she points to the little kid.

"Dante and I's son, Dmitri." Nicole says. "We were going to go on a date but we needed someone to watch him until we get back." she adds, smiling at Katelyn.

"Mom? I was gonna head out with Blade." Nicole suddenly hears as a white haired woman walks past the two.

"Remember what I said." Katelyn warns.

The woman rolls her eyes. "Yeah, I know Mom. Don't let him get me pregnant." she laughs. "I doubt he has the guts to do that." she smirks.

"Good. I'm not ready to be a grandmother just yet." Katelyn tells her. "Have fun, Destiny." she adds.

"I will." Destiny smiles.

Nicole thinks for a moment. "Actually, Katelyn, I think I'll leave Dmitri here with you. Have fun! He's quite the troublemaker!" Nicole shouts and immediately speed walks away.

Destiny stops and turns around. "Dmitri? Who's that?" she asks her mother.

"Nicole and Dante's son. She wants me to watch over him. As if watching over you was hard enough." Katelyn grumbles.

"If you want, I can watch him." Destiny offers. "I can always call some friends to help."she smiles.

"Only if you can handle it." Katelyn says.

"I can handle it Mom. Besides, it'll give me practice for when that time comes." Destiny comments.

Katelyn nods. "Fine but if you need anything, call me or Travis and we'll come right back." she tells her daughter.

"Where are you going?" Destiny questions.

"Toby and Rowan wanted to spend some time with us." her mother explains.

Dmitri is a troublemaker! AHHH!

Alina - What do you mean and who's Dmitri?

Zurca - Dmitri's Nicole and Dante's son. My mom told Neico and I about that.

Alina - Oh....that makes sense, kind of.

Max - Need any help Dest?

Maybe. NO, DO NOT TOUCH THAT VASE!
.....okay, yes please!

Max - Okay, want me to let Blade know?

Alina - I don't even know where he is. My parents are worried sick about him.

Neico - You mean he disappeared?

Alina - I don't know. Wait, someone's at the door!

Zurca - Alina, who is it?! Do we need to come and defend you?!
