"Alpha, there's something you need to know."Sierra muttered quietly to herself.

I raised an eyebrow before narrowing my eyes. "Like what?"I asked.

Sierra sighed. "I'm sorry Harper. I promised I wouldn't tell."I heard her mutter. "Harper's mom, Adaya killed your father with the Ultima Sword."she admitted.

"WHAT?!"my demon-like voice kicked in randomly, which spooked Sierra.

I stormed out of my dorm, memories hitting from every direction. Out of everything that happened recently, finding out my good friend's mom killed my father was certainly NOT ON THE LIST. I could easily sense I was struggling to stay calm as I took deep breaths, trying to cool down my sudden anger.

I would've hoped it worked but unfortunately, it didn't. My eyes turned crimson as I found myself running out of the school, blind. Well, technically I wasn't blind, I just closed my eyes so I couldn't hurt anyone. I spotted a clearing in the forest that overlooked a small pond and had a tree trunk nearby said pond. Walking over to the tree trunk, I sat down on it letting out my ears and tail as they so desperately wanted out.

"Why. Why did I have to be friends with my father's murderer?"The minute I said that, I realized how pathetically angry I sounded.

I heard a twig snap as I quickly pulled out my swords, placing them in my signature formation. I closed my eyes, just in case it was a human that was approaching.

"Blade."the voice called.

I knew that voice anywhere, it was a voice I hated hearing. "Alec."I replied, equally as cold.

"Here's the thing, Blade. Stay away from Harper. She's too good for a monster like you, so go back to the whiny cave you're from."he sneered at me.

I growled. "Maybe you should stay away from her. After all, you did cheat on her which was a stupid move if you ask me."I replied.

"At least I'm not a dangerous Alpha werewolf."Alec remarked.

"Oh, so now your playing that card? At least I'm not a Fireborn."I retorted back at him.

He attempted to punch me but my fist caught his before he could. "Shut up, Blade!"he yelled, drawing his sword out.

It was a simple, tiny dagger that he had drawn out. Again, my swords remained in their formation, a formation I had found out that not many people could do.

When I wasn't looking, he must've done something because I couldn't sense him coming up behind me. Sure enough, there around my ankle, was a power dampener. I groaned loudly, no wonder I couldn't sense him. My powers were weakened because of the dampener.

"Sleep tight Blade."Alec whispered, throwing his dagger directly into my side.

I got dizzy after he did that and I must have been way too weak to even notice Alec running back to the school. Was he going to tell people that I attacked him? I tried to fight off the dizziness that never seemed to disappear as I sighed heavily.
