The sun was high in the sky with the occasional clouds blowing passed as a small group was in the creek, searching for the radio that Bellamy had tossed in. Exhaling through her nose as Nadiah splashed through the water, making her way back to the creek bed. Kicking a foot up, splashing some water onto Bellamy who was squatting down, playing with a long strand of grass. A soft scoff escaped from his lips as he looked up to her with a brow arched, "If I wanted to get wet, I would have gotten in the water myself." His lips had formed into a faint smirk once the girl had taken a seat beside him.
"Oh, come on, you're telling me that you don't want your boots to be soak with water." Nadia sarcastically said as she pulled one of her boots off, emptying the water that was inside onto the dirt. Hearing the soft sigh as she began to drain her other boot, looking over to see a concern look on Bellamy's face.
"Do you think we messed up?" His soft voice asked as his eyes held onto the female's green eyes. Furrowing her brows together for a moment before they relaxed, shaking her head, "We did what we thought was right, we were protecting everyone down here."
"Three hundred of our people might die up there today." Commenting, trying to face the facts of his actions.
Sliding her boots back onto her feet as she listened to his words. Our people. A soft simple hum escaped from her closed lips from his words, those people in the sky were far from being her people. "Better them than us." Nadiah said emotionlessly, looking away from the freckle face male. Before Bellamy could say another word, a voice called out from the water claiming their finding with the rest of the group.
Mentally thanking the boy who got everyone's attention as she stood to her feet as the others made their way towards her and Bellamy. Watching as Raven began to mess with the radio, seeing as a small amount of water dribbled out. "Can you fix it?" Clarke asked Raven worriedly.
Not look looking up from the machine as she continued to mess with it, "Maybe, but it'll take half the day just to dry out the components to see what's broken."
"Like I said, it's too late." Bellamy's voice spoke out beside her. His words angered the blonde as she began to march up to him, "Do you have any idea what you guys did?" Clarke looked between the couple, "Do you even care?" Yelling out to the two.
"Back off Clarke." Nadiah commanded, placing her hands upon her hips while Bellamy spoke.
"Three hundred people are gonna die today because of you!" Clarke exclaimed in his face.
"Hold up." Raven called out, gaining everyone's attention before she continued, "We don't have to talk to the Ark. We just have to let them know we're down here, right?"
Brows were furrowed hard together as Finn spoke up before anyone else, "Yeah, but how do we do that with no radio?"
A smile was plastered upon her face, not saying another word to the others. Nadiah's eyes moved from the female and over to the male that was standing right next to her, who looked down to her at the same time. The two were curious about what the girl had in mind. "Spit it out Raven." Bellamy commanded before the two broke their eye contact, moving it back to the mechanic. A smirk had replaced the smile on her face as she began to explain her idea about shooting flares into the sky in order for their people to see.
