He was just starring at me.
"What?" I asked brushing a piece of hair away from my face. He smiled and shrugged as he gently shifted the deer on his shoulders. He began to walk back towards the prison. I followed next to him, starring deeply into his face trying to find any thing that might hint on what he was thinking. But it was like looking at stone. It's so beautiful when you look at it but trying to look through it was almost impossible. Soon we reached the gates and Daryl dropped the deer. He started to load his gun and sent 2 shots into the air. Then he bent down and loaded the deer back on his shoulders. The deer was beautiful, it's head was a little bloody from its wound but nothing else seemed wrong with it. Rick came down to the gate and opened it for us. We ran to the top of the hill and opened the next set of gates. Then we ran in to the court yard where Rick and the rest had obviously made their food cooking station. Carol gasped and ran to Daryl smiling and rejoicing happily. I liked my new home. I liked the people, the prison, but most of all I think I liked Daryl.
