Daryl and I were in his truck in the middle of the pack. Rick,Lori, and Carl were leading the pack with Andrea behind them. Then us, then Maggie and Glenn. They were driving a bus full of back up supplies for times like this. I was fat dreaming and reliving the gruesome scene.

T-Dog ran out behind Carol. A walker grabbed his arm biting down hard. His blood curdling scream. Then Carol ran to try and save him. Another took her down. "Cammy... Are you ok did you get hurt?" Daryl asked me frantically as he searched for any signs of an injury.

"No I... I'm fine I.... I'm just a little scared." I spoke with a tone I had never used before. It was the tone you use when your terrified.

The seat of Daryl's truck was bench like. He patted the spot next to him and I slide over and curled up next to him, grabbing the toe of boots with my hands and resting my head on his shoulder. He lifted his arm and put it around me and pulled me closer. I aloud him to and laid my head on his chest. He kissed the top of my head and whispered,

"I'll never let anything hurt you. I love you. Your the first women I have ever loved." I looked up at him and his baby blues met my chestnuts. His eyes were filled with love and care. I knew I would never need to worry again. I knew Daryl would always protect me.

"I love you too Daryl. You are the best thing that has ever happened to me." He smiled down at me and kissed my forehead. Then a wave of drowsiness came over me and I feel asleep.
