16| Confess

Daryl and I walked hand in hand down the the stair way and into the kitchen of our new farm home. Everyone was there. They smiled at us but continued talking amongst themselves.

"Uh guys..." Daryl muttered. Nobody payed any attention."Guys!" He said a little louder and everyone looked at us. He looked down at me and I smiled weakly.

"We have something we need to tell you." He stated. Everyone looked confused.

"I'm pregnant." I said and looked around the room. Shock, fear, and happiness found its way into the faces of many.

"We will be here for you every step of the way." Lori stated and everyone nodded in agreement. Then Maggie and Glenn stepped forward to stand with Daryl and I. Everyone grew a look of perplexity.

"Glenn and I are happy to announce that I too am pregnant!" She said it happily and people nodded in agreement. Obviously Maggie and Glenn had decided to keep their baby.

"Well I guys, I have one more announcement!" Daryl said happily. People seems to smile as Daryl fumbled around in his pocket. What the hell was he doing. Then he pulled out a small box and Glenn and Maggie backed away to watch.

"Cameron Lee," Daryl stated kneeling on one knee. I smiled and tears began to fill my eyes. I put one had to my mouth to muffle the cries. "Would you like to become a Dixson?!" He asked opening the box and reviling a beautiful Dimond ring.

"Daryl why did you even ask! You should know the answer!" I stated playfully. Daryl looked down at his feet as if he was ashamed.

"Of course I will marry you Daryl!" I said and he placed the ring on my finger. People clapped as Daryl stood up and hugged my tightly. I laughed through my tears when Andrea yelled din-din time. And everyone sat down to eat. This day had been and emotional roll-a-coaster but I was happy that I was now married to Daryl Dixson and was going to have his baby!
