When Leah repeated what Issy said to Noah, I had to say I was slightly proud of my little sister.
It had been a week since she and Noah had 'officially' broken up. And I have to admit Issy had better days. She always kept a bright smile, but it wasn't always legitimate. Aiden, Conner and I walked over to Leah, Issy and Scarlett - conners girlfriend. - but Letty was no where to be found.
"Come on Issy . . . it'll be fun" Leah whined as we reached the table.
"What'll be fun?" Conner asked as we took our seats. Conner kissed Scarlett on the top of her head, causing her to blush and smile. Scarlett was only a new addition to our group. She'd been new to the school, so before she could discover how much of a sleez my cousin was he asked her out and introduced her to our little group of friends.
She was a nice girl.
Leah groaned. "Bellamy Jackson is having a party tonight and everyone in the years invited. But Issy's saying she doesn't want to go."
"Why not?" I asked.
Bellamy was on the football team with the three of us guys, so I've known about the party for weeks. Just if you people are idiots, Bellamy Jackson is a guy.
"Ugh fine Leah you happy, i'll go" Issy groaned.
"You know whose going, Bethany Blake" I whispered to Aiden. Obviously I said it a bit loud because Leah added.
"Well she's a bit of a skank but...whatever." Her face went red when we all stared at her. "Sorry I wasn't meant to say that out loud". All of us, except for Leah of course, busted into hysterics.
"Shut up" She groaned, her face red from embarrassment. Everyone calmed down. 2 minutes later I chuckled to myself. "Shut up! people are looking at us!" She whispered.
I glanced around. Various students were staring. But I don't think it was because of Leah. A very tired looking Laetitia wondered over to us slumping down and resting her head on AIden's shoulder. While Isabelle was reassuring her about something. I felt bad for my cousin. Her parents were always always always screaming at her.
"It's not you" I replied to Leah. Her face dropped when she noticed Letty. In an attempt to lighten the mood I faced Leah. "Besides, you've never cared what people think of you" I said to which she raised an eyebrow.
"I only care what certain people think of me" She smirked looking straight into my eyes. . I did a double take.No one else heard us seeing as they went back to their regular conversations.
"And what does that mean" I whispered leaning closer to her. No one else noticed. She sucked in a breath, biting her lip. Dammit why did she have to do that. Doesn't she know when a girl bites their lip its like, poison. Intoxicating. Now i'm sitting here staring at her lips . . . . shit.
I sat back quickly taking an interest in my watch. Leah sat dazed for a moment before standing up.
"Uh I have to finish some homework, so . . . see you guys later" She rushed to the stairs glancing back at me. Isabelle's eyes narrowed on me.
