Days passed and you hadn't run into Suga again. You eventually forgot about how bad you were feeling about how things went down between the two of you. With Oikawa as a roommate, it was pretty to forget about a lot of things.

Today was one of Oikawa's long days, so you weren't going to see him until late tonight. You decided to go out and do what you don't get to often: sit and enjoy some coffee. You had found a great café when you first moved to your university and loved how quiet and intimate it was.

Truth was, you never got to bring anyone. You didn't take any of your flings to that place; it felt too special. You thought about bringing Oikawa with you a few times, but you didn't want to freak him out.

The café was a light walk from your apartment. It was quiet and there were only a few people inside. You ordered your coffee and waited close to the front counter for it.

"Hey, [Y/N]." a soft, familiar voice said. You turned around to see Suga with pink cheeks. Never in a million years did you think he'd be the first to talk to you.

"Hey, Suga. I wasn't expecting to see you here." you smile at the silver haired boy.

"Are you here with anyone? I was hoping we could talk." his eyes dart to the corner of the café where he left his stuff. How did you not notice him over there?

"Uh, sure." just then, your order appeared on the counter. You picked it up and followed Suga to his table. He pulled out your chair for you, just like he used to when you guys were dating. Your heart did a little leap.

The two of you were quiet for a while until Suga broke the silence.

"Do you live far from here?" something light.

"About a 10 minute walk. It's very nice."

"Any roommates?"

You chewed on your lip. You were finally talking to Suga again; you didn't want to ruin it by bringing up Oikawa. But, you didn't want to lie either.

"Just an old friend. We met back in our third year." well, it wasn't a lie.

"Anyone I know?" Suga gave you a skeptical look. He was your boyfriend after all, he would've known if you had made a new friend.

"Not very well. We got to know each other after.. you know.." you trailed off. You basically gave it away.

"Are you two dating?" he asked quietly, his eyes on his coffee mug.

"No," you shook your head, hoping that would console him.

"It's hard to believe there's nothing going on between you two considering how you cheated on me with him." there it was. The moment where Suga would dump all over you. He never talked to you after that day, so he never got the chance.

"I'm sorry," he cleared his throat. "That was uncalled for."

"No," you shook your head, a tear falling down your face. "I deserve whatever you're gonna say, Suga. I fucked up.  What I did to you was horrible." you said quietly, making eye contact. His light brown eyes were still warm and familiar to you.

Suga smiled lightly. "You're right, [Y/N]." was all he said before he stood up, gathered his things, and left the café.

You don't remember the walk home. You don't remember Oikawa's voice greet you when you walked through the door. You just remember the softness of your pillow and the salt of your silent tears.

You wished that Suga had chewed you out and given you what you deserved. You desperately wished that he yelled and screamed. Instead, he just smiled in your face. Your pathetic, undeserving face.

"[Y/N]?" it was Oikawa. Of course it was. He always knew when you weren't yourself. You didn't answer him.

"[Y/N]." he said firmly this time. Then, you felt your bed shift under new weight. Oikawa had positioned himself above your head. His legs were on either side of you and he lifted your head so it was on his lap; it was your favorite (non-sexual) position.

He started to run his fingers through your [h/c] hair.

"Come on, [Y/N]. What are friends for?" he teased. He wasn't particularly good at comforting you. Or people in general. It was funny watching him attempt though; it ended up with a lot of slaps to the face.

"I saw Suga." you said simply. Oikawa's hand didn't stop combing through your locks.

"I thought he was finally going to let me have it after what happened. He just smiled at me instead."

"Is that not better than getting yelled at?" he asked genuinely. Gosh, he's such a fucking idiot.

"Unlike you, Tooru, I have a heart. I didn't feel particularly good about what I did."

"But, if you didn't do that, we wouldn't be here right now. Don't you have fun with me?"

You sat up, meeting Oikawa's chocolate brown eyes.

"Of course I do. That doesn't mean I can't feel bad about it."

"If you feel bad about it, then does that mean you still like him?" he asked seriously. You couldn't believe what you were hearing. Is Oikawa jealous?

"What?" you blinked. "No, Tooru, I'm over that." you waved your hand dismissively, not even believing yourself. Oikawa had brought up a good point: if you were over it, why did you still feel sad that Suga didn't yell at you?

Because you ruined a good guy, you thought.

"Well, good, 'cause you're mine, [Y/N]."

You grabbed Oikawa's face with one hand while holding yourself up with the other.

"I am no one's, Oikawa." you smile slyly, planting a kiss on his lips.
