July 17th - 31st 1945
When we where next to the Japanese homeland the ship captains told all of us to get onto a ship AA Guns and other guns on the ship to have some fun shooting at the main land of Japan to show them who's alot powerful and tell them that she should never made that attack on us at Pearl Harbor. From day in and day out we've been just sending millions of rounds to Japan and plus we got the US Planes that are bombing Japan as well for the rest of the month the US Navy and Navy planes we're just shooting at things that are moving, for the invasion, but that plan will not be an option, because the war department didn't want more died US men for this war and the invasion, so they told us to stop firing onto Japan, and plus we got something very top secret for next month, that's what I heard lately, but I'm not sure just yet. When the higher commanders including me had to be in a meeting for the very top secret project, after the hours, they didn't want us officers to tell our men just yet, after the first of August. Later that night the men were trying to ask me what is the top secret, but I told them that I can't tell them just yet after the first of August, then one of the officers told me that I can now tell them about the top secret plan, to make the Japanese to surrender, so I told them that we will be dropping two Atomic bombs onto their biggest cities to make then surrender.
