Loving Will

Chapter 10

After cleaning the breakfast dishes Will took off towards the water whilst I took advantage of the sun. I was laid back in a sun chair with my glasses covering my eyes, I watched as Will swam around carelessly. I smirked as I watched him come back to shore. Water dripping down his face and delicious looking body.

He sat down on the end of my chair draping his arm over my legs holding onto the other side of the seat "you should go for a swim it's nice out there."

I checked the time on my phone, it showed at ten o'clock. I closed the book I was reading pulling my strapless dress down my body. I grabbed his hand pulling him back in with me. Together we both descended into the water. I wrapped my arms around his neck jumping on his back. His hands moved to under my knees keeping me in place "tomorrow, I was thinking maybe we could go hiking or canoeing. I saw as we came in there was a shack where they were hiring them."

He turned his head to look at me "I like the sound of both of those. We still have plenty of days to do everything on your list."

I nodded "We have three days after today. I want to fit everything in." Before I had a chance to tighten my grip he threw me off his back "Will, you asshole."

He laughed swimming back to shore disappearing. He soon returned carrying a double canoe. I clapped my hands gleefully. I ran as quick as I could on the water to meet him. I threw my arms around his shoulders hugging him "you aren't an asshole, you are the best in the whole world."

He dropped the canoe to be able to catch me in his arms so I didn't drop to the floor. I wrapped my legs around his waist, I buried my face into his neck enjoying his body wrapped around mine. I awkwardly let go of him taking a huge step away. I grabbed a life vest from on top of the boat slipping it on. I watched as he did the same. I got on the boat first whilst Will pushed it onto the water getting on the back. At first, it was a massive failure but when we started to work together as a teacher we actually got where we wanted to go. We got close to the trail I would like to go on. I pointed it over to Will "see how beautiful it is. I think we should make a packed lunch and make a day out of it."

He nodded his head behind me "it looks beautiful, I think we should follow the trail for as far as it goes. But if there are any wild animals it's every man for themselves."

I laughed turning towards him to gently swat his arm "Will, I take it back you are an ass."

We spent hours going down the lake until we both got tired. I dropped the ore into my lap turning around to face Will. He had a blank look on his face, I poked his stomach making his eyes meet mine "are you okay?"

He nodded "yeah, of course. I was lost in thought. It's going to be busy next term."

I laughed shortly "yeah, last term until I graduate. How have you found your first year as a teacher?"

I could hear how nervous Will was by the way he talked "it's been good, I didn't expect to make a friend. I am glad I have you, Carley."

I grabbed his warm hand in mine "I'm glad I met you too Will Peters. Without you, my life would be normal and boring."

He snorted "you would so miss me."

I pulled him closer with his hand wrapping my arms around his neck cuddling him "I would be so alone without you. I never fit in at school, so I always was alone. Then, you came into my life and things shifted and I don't want to be without you."

We then paddled back to shore and made the best dinner of hot beans. We sat around the fire wrapped in a blanket. His arm was thrown around my shoulder whilst I laid against him. I placed our dishes to the side and looked up to him. He was already looking at me. I grinned from ear to ear "thank you for bringing me here."

He kissed my forehead gently "thank you for being you."

Before I had a moment to consider it I placed my lips on his. He pulled away from me at first. He was shocked, I cupped his cheek moving to kneel in front of him "kiss me."

He didn't think, he slammed his lips on mine taking what he could. His hand circled my waist and my hand moved to the hairs on the back of his neck. He pulled away first placing his forehead against mine, he was breathless "you're playing a dangerous game."

I kissed his lips gently once more "I don't care." I didn't give him a chance to pull away before my lips were back on his. "Take me to bed."

He shook his head against mine "I can't, I'm still your teacher for three more months."

I ran my hands down his chest "so teach me if you insist that you are just my teacher. Do your job and teach me then!" I stood up pulling my shirt over my head and then stepped out of my shorts. I now stood in front of him in a bikini. I grabbed the top strings between my fingers giving them a gentle tug. I pulled the last string dropping them on his lap "if your ready, I will be in my tent waiting."
