We are now all stood around the dance floor as the bride and groom took their first dance as a married couple. Will stood behind me with his hands wrapped around my waist. He kissed my neck "I love you, baby."

I kissed the corner of his mouth "I know, you asked to dance with me last night. Mr Peters, would you do the honour of dancing with me?"

His hand grasped mine guiding me onto the floor. Like yesterday, he guided his hands so they wrapped loosely around his neck. His hands cupped my lower back. Our foreheads pressed together, he smiled happily "I don't want this to ever end."

I rubbed my nose against his "it feels like we have been together forever. I love how comfortable we are. I think I want to talk with your parents again before we leave tomorrow."

He carefully kissed my lips as if I was going to break "we can try, baby. I don't want to keep trying if it's pointless. I know Tiger and Lolita are still angry with my parents but there isn't much we can do."

I didn't bother arguing about his parents any further, he knew I wanted them to make up. As everyone started to leave Will did his rounds farewelling his family and friends. I waited at the table watching as he charmed those that left. Lolita came and sat by me "how are you, hun?"

I shrugged conflicted "it's difficult. I love him so much but I do t want our relationship to affect his family. I don't have much family and for him to be fighting with his, I hate it. I don't want us to be apart and I can't fandom the thought of leaving him ever. Did you and Tiger find it this hard?"

Lolita pulled me into her warm arms "we did but we were entirely different circumstances. Tiger and I knew each other growing up. Our parents were friends. When Tiger came back after university, he told us he had a fiancé. We could keep away which resulted in hurting a lot of people. My mother has never met my kids. We haven't talked since she kicked me out at eighteen. Tigers sister, Ella we are still friends but we aren't as close as we used to be. There are always consequences to our actions it's about what we are willing to give up."

I agreed "thank you."

Will walked back over to us, he smiled at Lolita "everything okay over here grandma?"

Lolita nodded "yeah, we were having a heart to heart."

She kissed my forehead releasing me from her arms. I cuddled into Will's side "are you ready for bed?"

He nodded "yeah, I have said goodbye to everyone I don't see often."

When we got up the next morning half of Will's family had already left. We met Rebecca and Chris at the entrance to see them off. Rebecca threw her arms around me "don't leave here expecting us not to talk, I stole your number yesterday out of Will's phone."

I laughed "I can't wait to hear from you."

After she released me Chris pulled me into his arms "it was nice meeting you Rebecca. Remember things can only go up from here."

As they drive off we walked up to his parents' office. Will knocked on the door, they were quick to let us enter. I smiled hesitantly at them "I wanted to say thank you for everything before we left."

Vanessa forced a fake smile on her smile "your welcome."

I glanced at Sam to see his face was emotionless for a lawyer and a clinic surgeon they aren't at all what I expected. Will explained, "I wanted to try and relieve any worry you have regarding this situation."

Vanessa scoffed "you are dating your student Will, there is bugger all you can do to smooth this over. You are condemning your life."

Will went to speak but I but in "you both are being unfair, your parents had a relationship that was similar to ours. Are you condemning them or just us? I love your son and he loves me. Other than ruining your relationship with him you are just proving to us how much love we have for one another. We are going to make this relationship work and it's up to the both of you whether or not you are in your sons' life or even our children's lives if and when we have them."

Both Vanessa and Sam were shocked by my confession. Will wrapped me in his arms kissing my temple "well done, baby. I am proud of you for standing up for us."

Sam looked at Vanessa before standing "we are holding a Christmas celebration this year, we would like you to come."

I looked at Will "we won't be able to come until mid' day. We have plans with my aunt in the morning before she goes to work."

Sam nodded "that's fine, we usually do a big dinner anyway."

Will walked over and hugged his parents before rushing out before they changed their minds. We went to the restaurant for a quick meal with Tiger and Lolita. They were both happy to see us before we left. We sat down opposite to them joining them in small talk. Tiger glanced at his wife "how did it go with your parents?"

Will smiled at them "we have been invited to Christmas dinner this year. Carley stood up to them and told them how it was going to be."

Lolita clapped her hand applauding me "you, are amazing. I told you, Tiger, these two didn't need us standing up for them."

We didn't hang around for long. After a quick meal with Will's grandparents, we headed back to my place. He walked me to the front door wrapping me tightly in his hold "I don't want to be away from you."

I nodded against his chest "we can continue sleeping over just not tonight, Aunt Sarah should be here in a few hours after work. Then we can do all the sleepovers in the world."

Will continued to kiss my lips "tomorrow, sleep at my place. I know you haven't slept there before but I have a surprise there for you."

I sucked his lower lip into my mouth "okay, tomorrow I will go with you."
