"So, do you want to go to the cinema after the lesson finish?" Gulf asked as they were about to attend the last lesson of the day.
"Ok... but..."
"But?"
"I don't... like horror movies..." Lhong said
"Oh don't worry, I'm not like Type, I don't like them either" Gulf replied smiling. Then a girl arrived
"Oh Gulf how are you?" The girl asked
"Fine thanks and you?"
"Fine thanks" they kissed on both cheeks and the girl ran away
"She's pretty... who is she?" Lhong asked, he wasn't jealous since he got that being jealous doesn't help at all
"Well... I don't even remember her name actually" Gulf answered smiling and ruffling his hair.
"Then why... did you greet her like that if you don't even know her name?" Lhong asked, his heart beating faster than before
"Well... I think I wanted to please her... is it wrong?" Gulf said
"We should... go now, the lesson is about to start" Lhong said thinking about Gulf's answer. Was he just trying to please him? Or did he like him? As a friend at least...
The lesson finished and Gulf grabbed Lhong's hand forcing him to follow him. They got to the cinema and Gulf was about to pay the tickets when Lhong stopped him.
"What's wrong Lhong?"
"It's a... good day... I don't want to... spend to much time in a closed space...."
"If this is what you want... ok"
It was getting darker and they reached the bridge where they both jumped.
"You're... just faking... right?" Lhong murmured looking at the water.
"What?"
"You don't like me... you're just trying to make me happy right?"
"I don't get it Lhong... what are you talking about?"
Lhong turned to him crying
"Stop it... it's so ...cruel ... please... why did you condemn me to live... if you like anyone else ... don't care about me?"
"You know nothing Lhong..."
"I know that you're faking... why are you doing this?!"
"I said you know nothing!" Gulf shouted looking at him, then he continued
"I was faking with that girl and with a lot of other guys... but I wasn't faking... when I was with you..."
"How can I trust you!?"
"We're the same, you and me, both hiding our true personalities to be accepted"
"We are not the same!" Lhong yelled
"What do you mean? I became like this because... when I was in Thailand and I came out... my brother stopped talking to me... that cruel bastard..." Gulf said crying
"I paid a group to gang rape a guy... and almost choked your brother... are we still the same?" Lhong said looking directly into Gulf's eyes
"You what?!" Gulf said, his eyes widened, he grabbed Lhong's collar and forced him to the edge of the bridge.
"Exactly... let me fall this time... come on!"
Gulf was hesitant, then he kissed him. Lhong pushed him away and sank to the ground.
"What...what trick is this!? Why did you kiss me?!"
"I love you Lhong... and if you fall I fall"
"Don't be silly!" Lhong covered his ears and started crying.
"I love you too... but I don't deserve a second chance..."
Gulf gently kissed him again and this time Lhong kissed back.
"It'll work" Gulf said smiling
"Even if I accept it... your brother won't!"
"I don't care about him Lhong"
