"Whats wrong?" Joey asked after a moment of silence. He cared about Corey, he really wanted to know. And of course some of that stemmed from curiosity.
"Nothing." Corey said defensively almost snapping at Joey. He folded his arms as he raised an eyebrow.
Joey bit his lip wanting to press further. "Come on. You can tell me."
Coreys shoulders dropped and he let out a long sigh "The thing is Joe. I cant." He said. He knew he couldn't.
Joey shook his head "You can though. Im totally trust worthy corey. Im not going to tell people." He nodded "like what would I get from that anyway?"
"You dont understand." Corey looked in pain "Its not just. I cant. I cant Joey... Okay?"
Joey just nodded as he watched the man he loved, in his bed, sipping on some hot chocolate he made specially. He looked annoyingly attractive even with a tear stained face.
"Im here for you, you know." Joey said "want a hug or anything?"
Corey shook his head. "No. Its alright."
Joey smiled, but on the inside, that hurt him. Corey didnt see him then anything more than a fuck. Sure they had been fucking for a couple years now. And each time it was like more and more of their friendship disappeared. Friendship was destroyed for moments of lust. Joey was certain Corey only saw him there for his sexual needs and wants and not because he liked Joey anymore. Wasn't even his friend anymore.
The two sat there for a while, it felt like hours almost. Joey had a million question that flowed through his head. He didnt know which one to ask. Which would be appropriate or appreciated.
Anything to break the silence honeslty and Corey evidently was not going to tell him what was wrong.
Joey thought, as he bit his lip "Can i ask you a question?" He said playing with his hands
"What?" Corey mumbled looking away.
"Its a silly question really. But we've never talked about it actually." He said
"Spit it out." Corey said rolling his eyes at Joey's avoidance.
"How did you know you even liked guys?" Joey asked. He decided to move on the subject, talk about something else, anything else.
"Have we really never talked about this?" Corey asked suprised.
Joey nodded looking away
Corey bit his lip. "Well uh, what about you?" He asked "when did you know?"
Joey diverted his eyes. "Ive always found them attractive i guess... It wasnt like a holy crap moment my life ended. More just oh. Makes sense. I can work with that." He laughed.
Corey nodded "fair enough."
"Well what about you then?" Joey asked
Corey stayed silent before shrugging "dont know." He said half heartedly.
"There had to be a moment." Joey said
