Joey sighed softly as he watched the rain, checking his phone every few minutes as if something was actually going to happen. Morbid angel played quietly in the background as he waited In case something went off (hopefully the door instead of like a gas leak ) downstairs.

He bit his lip and prayed his phone would buzz but to no avail. All he wanted to do was see Corey. He brought him happiness, and he knew Corey shouldn't, plus relying on someone else for your emotions was stupid...yet Joey was indeed stupid.

He looked down at his feet which he was swinging as he sat on his bed.

He loved Corey. Fuck. It pained him to say. He was in love with his best friend who wasnt ever his best friend anymore. Not really.

Corey never acted like a best friend anymore. He was always out doing his own shit and hanging out with really weird weirdos. Joey had seen him hang out with these dudes names Josh and a shawn joey was not acquainted to unlike his friend who they nicknamed clown. Josh and shawn seemed nice but joey wasnt so sure about them. But he could safely say, hanging out with his friends didnt give him the same rush as hanging out with Corey. But he wasnt sure Corey could relate.

His phone buzzed as his heart rate hit the roof as he raced to open his phone.

One new message. Message from...oh...sid.

"Got an ounce. Come round :p"

Joey sighed as he turned his phone off. Dont get him wrong. He loved sid but, he wasnt in the mood for weed today. And it wasnt who he was hoping for.

Him and sid became accustomed in high school after mick introduced them. Joey would now consider sid to be one of his close friends. But he still ignored the message. And it still kinda hurt that Mick never kept in contact.

One of his cats jumped up next to him. He smiled gently to himself as he stroked the cats fluffy stomach. Black fur probably getting onto his black sheets but he couldnt have cared less.

These were the times he felt really lonely. Corey was busy probably having the time of his life with shawn and josh...without him. And all his friends yeah where free but he didnt want to see them. His mom, well she was at work, and both his sisters had gone to college.

That was the most lonely part. Growing up with them and them both being away out of state making the house ever so quiet, you could hear a pin drop. That's when he wasn't playing an instrument of course. And he really just had no inspiration to play drums or to practise guitar.

The record, slowly brought itself to the end as Joey could hear the little noise the vinyl player made.

He smiled at that sound as he heard a noise downstairs.

He looked up and grinned as he got up.

Joey ran to the door as soon as he heard it knock again, it couldn't be who be thought it was, yet here stood the man. "Corey!" He smiled "hi!"

Corey rolled his eyes, "Hey." He said simply, he was all wet from the downpour, his hair wet and clinging to his face, more ginger than ever from being so damp, and honeslty for Corey hearing joeys voice didnt make him any happier. But he didnt really expect it to.

Joey took Coreys coat and hung it over the door "how are you?" He asked

"Uh, alright i guess, you?" Corey scratched the back of his neck harshly.
