"Nathan, come here!" His mom called from the door.

Joey was playing with his toys in his room, and lets just say, he wasnt very happy to come down, he already knew who It would be. Family that was passing and would end up having a million year conversation, he grabbed a horse and trodded downstairs.

"Anyway I think you'll like it here and oh, yes this is Nathan!" She smiled

"H-hi." Joey said shyly looking up to a women he had never seen before.

She smiled back "hello dear."

"...hi?" Joey said

"What's your name?" She asked politely

"Nathan..."

"Nice to meet you, and how old are you dear?" She asked

"I'm twelve and a half." Joey said proudly as she chuckled

"Well, that's perfect, my sons the Same age."

Joey couldnt see anyone and just gave her a werid look.

"Corey, come on." She said gently as a young boy appeared slightly behind her, holding onto her as if he were protecting himself.

"Say hi, go on, dont be rude." She said sternly.

"Hi." He murmured quietly

Joey looked into his eyes, cold, blue, lifeless. He was small and decently skinny, with puffy dirty blondish ginger hair.

"Hello! I'm Nathan!" Joey said

"I'm Corey." The boy said no louder

"I like to play basketball outside sometimes, I'm really good." Joey laughed pretending to shoot a basket

Corey flinched a little with a small gasp.

"What?" Joey asked as corey began to hide behind his mom more.

"Anyway, we should probely get going." The woman said "we'll see you around."

It had been a couple weeks since that strange boy and his mom had came. Though they did give them a nice pie.

He shot another hoop, making it in of course.

Joey ran over to his toy horse "did you see that!?" He smiled proudly

"Pretty cool." He heard a quiet voice say.

Joey looked at the toy dumb founded before turning around to see that Corey kid.
