I arrived outside McGonagall's office a couple of minutes early. When I got there, I saw Percy, Annabeth, Jason and Carter chatting. I made my way over to them.

"Where's Sadie?" I asked.
"She went to the bathroom and said she'd meet us here," Percy said. I nodded.

Dead on the hour, Professor McGonagall walked down the corridor.
"Alright students," she called, and everyone's heads snapped to attention, "could you all go to Professor Flitwick's classroom please. You will be catching up on charms today."

We started to head back down the corridor I had come from, but McGonagall stopped us. "Your highnesses, may I speak with you in my office please?" It wasn't a question. I smiled and nodded in ascent and followed her to the griffin statue we had all been hovering around. "Zeus' lightning bolt!" she called and a staircase started spiralling up from the ground. I saw Percy and Jason exchange looks. We followed McGonagall up the stairs.

"Now, before we enter, you must know that you have been kept separate from the people you are about to meet for a reason. All of the past attempts at becoming allies have ended in war," McGonagall told us solemnly. I wondered what she was talking about. I mean, that's what happened with the Romans, and I assumed the Egyptians too, but who else could there possibly be? Norse? Cherokee? McGonagall pushed open the doors.

Standing waiting for us were two very familiar faces: Frank and Hazel. Frank winked and Hazel smirked at us. Professor McGonagall didn't seem notice. I glanced at Annabeth who widened her eyes in recognition. Then, I remembered that McGonagall didn't seem to realise that we had literally just had a war with, and become allies with the Romans. She thought she was introducing us for the first time. She thought that this was the secret being kept. She thought it was the camps that had to unite to defeat a common enemy. In Been there, done that, got the giant golden statue.

Annabeth met my eyes and winked to tell me she knew what she was doing. I nodded. Then, she stepped forward and addressed Frank and Hazel.
"Professor Zhang, Professor Levesque! What brings you here?"
"There is something I must tell you both," McGonagall interrupted, "do you remember how I told you of a different camp, one for Greeks and one for Romans?"
Frank, Hazel, Percy, Annabeth, Jason and I nodded. Carter just stood back and let us get on with it. He looked incredibly confused.
"Well, Professor Zhang and Professor Levesque here are from the Roman camp, and you five from the Greek."
"What? No way! How did we not know about them?" I all but yelled. Percy feigned a look of surprise and Jason shook his head.
Annabeth joined me in my protesting, "but I've been at Camp Halfblood since I was seven! How could I not know about a completely different camp for demigods?"
Frank and hazel tried to look stunned and were doing a great job.
"So all this time," Hazel asked, "my star mythology students were demigods? No wonder. They all got one hundred percent on their tests!"
"Yesss!" Percy fist pumped.
"And that would be why you fight so well! I got absolutely nothing done in that lesson because everyone was staring at you two fighting!" Frank added. Percy put his arm around Annabeth. Cute! Aah, mom!

"So, I'm Praetor Zhang, son of Mars, and this is Centurion Levesque, daughter of Pluto. Centurion Dakota is currently supervising the patrol so couldn't make it. Nice to meet you," Frank introduced.
"I'm 'Princess' Annabeth, daughter of Lady Sofia Polemos, also known as Athena. This is my boyfriend, 'Prince' Perseus, son of High-Lord Thalassa Triaina, also known as Poseidon. 'Princess' Piper, daughter of Lady Omorfia Agapi, or Aphrodite. And finally 'Prince' Jason, son of King Vronti Astrapi, or Jupi- Zeus," Annabeth announced, covering up her mistake well. How does she remember those names that she made up on the spot at the sorting yesterday?

"Well, it is a pleasure to meet you," Hazel smiled. We all moved in closer as Frank shook the boy's hands and kissed the girls. It was really sweet, to be honest. Hazel didn't seem to know what to do so just curtsied and shook hands. I'm glad Annabeth lectured us on manners in that, what, five minutes before the sorting ceremony started?

Carter was just standing in a corner by the door. He looked unsure of what to do and confused as to what was happening.

Then the door burst open. "Sorry I'm late!" Sadie called as she entered. Everyone looked at her then continued with the 'nice to meet yous' and 'what and honers' and 'I can't believe we haven't met befores'. She spent a whole two seconds observing before announcing, "But you said you knew them? Why are you just now meeting? I'm confused."

McGonagall furrowed her eyebrows and all the demigods burst out laughing. We patted each other on the back and hugged and just enjoyed the look on her face. After wiping away tears of laughter, I almost regained myself. Then I glanced at Sadie and Carter and doubled over again. It was priceless.

Finally, the six of us recovered enough to stand up straight.
"Sooo... you do know each other then?" Sadie asked. I looked at Hazel and Annabeth and we burst into a new wave of giggles. The boys joined in.

"Y-yes. We went on a quest together like, a month ago," I said when I rediscovered that my voice could do something other than be hysterical, "we travelled to Greece, defeated Gaia, stopped a civil war between the camps, saved each other's butts multiple times, and basically bonded really quite well. Just your average summer holidays."
"But, what war? When did this happen?" McGonagall asked, sounding extremely confused.
"As I said, about a month ago is when it ended. Lasted almost a year, if we're counting from when Percy vanished and Jason appeared," I said.
"But I didn't know anything about any war, except the one here," McGonagall told us.
"Well you've not exactly been with the demigod times, if you've never heard of Percy Jackson," Frank cut in.
"I guess..." she said.

"Well, now that that's settled, what are we doing for this extra lesson thing, or can we go and get ready for dinner?" Sadie asked, blunt as ever. She is like the complete opposite of me - I have to carefully craft my words to get the best effect, but she just said whatever was on her mind. I admired that about her.

"I don't have any reason to keep you, if you already know each other," McGonagall replied, sounding slightly miffed.
"Great!" Sadie called, already opening the door. Carter rolled his eyes before following. Then the six of us left the office together and we headed down the stairs.

The Seven now down to six.
