I'm gently shaken awake in the middle of the night. I had no idea I fell asleep. Huey lies next to me, arm hooked around my waist. Between us, my phone is lighting up and buzzing.

"Cindy keeps calling you," he says.
"What, you want me to block her?" I jest.

I answer it, "Hello?"
~ "Yo' parents gettin' suspicious. I turned on the shower, locked the bathroom door, and told 'em you takin' a bath. The bathroom window is unlocked. Get da ladder and climb in through there." ~
"You said I'm taking a bath at 12 AM?"
~ "It's da best I could do. You gotta get back over here." ~
"OK, thanks."

I hang up and sit up, wiping the sleepiness from my eyes. Huey also sits up.

"Do you need help?" he asks.
"Yeah," I say. "The ladder is pretty heavy."

"Y'all really ain't smash?" Riley says from the other bed, scaring me. I forgot they share a room. "That's gay."

Huey and I leave then sneak into my backyard. He helps me set up the ladder. Before I climb up, he bids me farewell with a kiss.

"Let me know if anything happens," he says.
"I will."

I climb up the ladder and open the bathroom window. Once I'm inside, I take my clothes off and grab my bathrobe hanging on the door. Then, I turn the shower off and walk out.

Mom and Dad stand in the hall, arms folded. When they see me, they both sigh of relief.

"I told you not to worry, Tom," Mom says. "Let's go to bed already."
"Alright," he says. "Goodnight, Jazmine."
"Goodnight." I wave.

On the way back to my room, Cindy sticks her hand out her door and high-fives me. I almost laugh.

I go back to my room, throw on some underwear and a t-shirt then go to bed.

...The Next Morning...

First block is still a little awkward with Caesar around, but not as awkward as I thought it'd be. He seems to have moved on pretty quickly and talks to this Latina girl who sits in the front.

Good for him, I think.

At least I don't have to feel as guilty about yesterday. Ruckus did say he gets around anyways.

I didn't want to skip school, like Cindy did before—I think I'm already far enough behind since that trip to New York.

Second block is nice. It feels good being with Huey again (even though he pisses the social studies teacher off again). I won't let something so small and stupid ruin things between us again. He's the only guy I've dated, but he's definitely different from the rest.

After class, the lunch bell rings. I'm not hungry today. Instead of going to the cafeteria together, Huey pulls me aside and takes me to the stairwell once everyone's gone.

He presses me up against the wall and presses his lips against mine. My cheeks start to heat up. He starts to kiss my neck.
"Huey," I chuckle. "Where is this coming from?"
"Remember what you did on Friday?"
"I really made you wait, didn't I?"
"Yeah."

His hand lingers up my skirt. He starts to toy with me, playing around with my intimate spots. Soon, I feel his fingers inside me. I can't help but squirm and fidget, trying to keep it together. My breaths become erratic as I try not to breathe too loud. He keeps teasing, though. It's driving me insane.
