Genre: Shoujo, fantasy, adventure, comedy, drama and romance

Writer and illustrator: Shina Dai

Suited for: People who love surreal mildly dramatic Shoujo mangas, people who love Sailor Moon, people who enjoy reading fantasy stories, people who like an anime/manga set in a fictional medieval world and people who like sweet romances.

First of all, the anime is also great but the manga undoubtedly offers something more than the anime. The story, is a really simple one. The characters would seem sometimes Goofy and sometimes very serious. The rain kingdom's princess, Nike came to the sun kingdom to marry the king...Livius. As old as it sounds, it's a lot different. The main premise is a good one and you- the reader would enjoy it, but even if I love this manga, I don't think it's story is the best point about Soredemo Sekai wa Utsukushii.
The best part of SSU, is the stunning, surreal and out of place artwork. Shina Dai's art was always very good and she excelled with this manga. Take a panel from a comedic scene, take a panel from a more serious scene, a dramatic scene and obviously, a romantic scene. Especially with the romantic scene you can get that Sailor Moon vibe, which is an amazing thing.  The characters are all very good and good to think about them deeply. It's probably the manga, I just started reading and when I saw the first panel...I fell in love with the goodness.
