Blood flew and the crunch of bone echoed all around you, you were very low to the ground, you felt that your eyes were wide and afraid as a dead lifeless body was dropped to the ground to the side of you carelessly.

More blood and more crunches soon followed until finally that one small body had grown into a pile of four. You crept over to them and nudged them, unfortunately you got no response confirming that they were dead. You began crying for them the cute little bodies, blood pooling below them from there deadly wounds.

You felt a nudge to your back and saw another thing, the ice blue eyes standing out looking at you worried, he started to push you away from the pile. But before he could get you to a safe place you heard an angry yelp from the thing that had done all the killing. Your vision turned and saw the jaws of a wolf coming your way.

You gasped and sat up straight as a board, sweat beaded on your forehead as your lungs sucked in fresh oxygen trying to calm your racing heart. You always had this dream, or nightmare, at least four times a week to the point where you had gotten sleep therapy but it didn't work. It never changed and you always woke up when the jaws of a beast were about to snap down on your face.

You were now sat on the long bus to Black Wood forest. It felt quite dirty but it's a school bus so of course it was dirty. Hange sat next to you, you must have fallen asleep on her, which is why your head was now leant against her shoulder.

You shook your head as those icey blue eyes returned to the back of your mind, they always got stuck in your head you felt attached to them like they were the only things you should ever look at again. You shook your head again and brushed off your clothes even though they weren't dirty. You looked over to the sleeping Hange her mouth was wide open with drool dribbling down from the corner of her mouth.

You laughed under your breath, with a quick look outside you could tell that you weren't too far away from Black Wood forest. With that thought you turned and then shook Hange by the shoulder to wake her up, she did quickly wake up with a snort.

*Time Skip*

The entire group of you and your class mates were herded from the bus to now being stood just outside of it with all of your luggage. You looked around as your teachers counted heads to make sure everyone was here and off the bus, they then stood before you with a list.

"Now for the sleeping arrangements, there will be two per tent, and we have picked the pairs this time, so listen up" the teacher yelled quieting you all.

Yes, you had arranged sleeping partners, it made a giant group of your classmates groan. You used to be able to pick your own sleeping buddy and you would always go with Hange, however this all changed when there were some... incidents, so the rules were put in place.

"Oooooo, I hope I'm with you" Hange latched onto your arm and shook you a bit.

You also hoped you were with her; you gave her a smile in agreement. You two had never caused a problem on trips before so you hoped that you would both be able to stay together. However, your hoping was in vain as soon after you were corrected.

"(Y/N) and Kasey tent 10" the loud voice cut through.

This arrangement didn't particularly bother you; it wasn't a good or a bad thing for you it was just, meh. Kasey was part of the popular group, so you didn't talk to her much, or ever really so you didn't quite know how to react.

"But sir" Hange shouted.

"No exceptions Hange. These are the rules" the teacher stopped all arguments.

You sighed grabbing your things "I'll see you later Hange ok. I'll try to get in the same treasure hunting group as you later on".

You walked away to find your tent. You could hear Kasey complaining behind you, but still following. You ignored everything she was saying and eventually found your tent and climbed inside to unpack.

*3rd Persons POV*

(Y/N)'s scent travelled far and fast, through Black Wood forest the trees shook with delight, the animals scurried around and out of their hiding spots at the scent. The entire forest welcoming her back.

A young, fully black alpha lay at the mouth of his cave snoozing in the mid morning sun. A much older (H/C) alpha lay beside him doing the same, scars littered his skin from an old fight, the (H/C) fur never growing on those past wounds, the tough, course skin preventing it.

A sweet and very familiar but scent hit the both of their noses at the same time, carried by the wind. Both of their heads shot up at the scent, their ears pointing forward and twitching to listen for any new sounds. Their noses following the twitching to find exactly where the scent was coming from.

The both knew exactly what that scent was and who it belonged to, the older male jumped up while the fully black male stayed alert from the shock, his head pointed in the direction the scent was coming from. They were both desperate to get to its owner, they needed to see the owner.

The older man sat back on his haunches and tilted his head up to the sky letting out a long, loud echoing howl. His pack and the black alpha following his howl. She was back, and this time she wouldn't ever be taken away again.

*(Y/N)'s POV*

A long echoing howl from far away froze your entire group. You had originally been sent out on a treasure hunt by the teachers, you had to find certain items listed on the paper that had given you. Unfortunately for you, you had been paired with a load of stereotypical populars, none of the idiots could read a map or use a compass so you were completely lost. You could read a map but they wouldn't let you see it to be able to get you out of the shit position you were in. Hange was not in your group, much to your annoyance.

It was quickly getting dark though "it's that way" the boy with the map pointed the way you had just come from.

"It can't be that way. We just came from that way" you rolled your eyes.

"Actually, it's that way" he corrected.

"Where that Wolf's howls just came from? I don't fancy getting eaten thanks" the girl sat next to you said sarcastically.

"Well that's the way the map dictates" the boy answered her.

"Let's just go with him. He has to be right and I would like to get back to the tents" the other girl said flirtatiously to the boy with the map.

She then began walking in the direction that he pointed, you were in a group of five including you, two boys who lead the group because they were 'men' and three girls including you who were supposed to follow like good little girls. You rolled your eye at the thought of what the boys said.

"If you give me the map, I can get us all back" you stressed.

"Nope no way you just sit back us men can handle this" the other boy spoke.

"Boys!" You mumbled angrily.

You rolled your eyes and followed them, you all kept walking until another singular howl sounded but much closer than the last big group howl. You all froze again in complete fear, now you felt like something was watching you.

"Somethings coming" the girl next to you grabbed your arm and held on tight.

Finally, she made you break, not liking her touch, you grabbed the map from the boy and began to read it. You quickly got you bearings and then using the compass that you had also snatched up. You smiled finding the way home and looked behind you to the group.

"This way, follow me" you said with a smile.

They sighed and then set off in the direction they were facing, you didn't follow though your eyes seeing two glowing sharp ice blue eyes watching you. Those eyes were like the ones from your dream. No, they were the ones from your dream. They were clearly locked on you and you couldn't look away from them, they had you locked into place.

"Are you going to direct us then" one of the boys turned around finally snapping you from town thoughts.

"Right" you said jogging over to them looking away from the eyes.

But when you looked back after taking a couple of steps, they were gone it was like it was your imagination all along. You shook your head and then ran to the front of the group so that you could properly lead them home to the tents.
